OT: Transgenders in Sports Debate Pops Up Again

So I guess my question is if the naturally born girls are supposed to just get over it since the trans girls work hard and beat them... why arent the trans girls forced to compete as the boys they were born as and then get over it if they cant win competing at their natural born sex?

maybe I could understand this issue better if I were more exposed to transgender people,  but it kind of boggles my mind.  I grew up with a few kids that turned out to be gay,  we always kind of knew and you just let them be as long as they didnt get wierd about it,  but as far as cross dressing and going so far as to physically and chemically change ones sex I just dont have much exposure to this... that I know of.

And if this is the same case I read about last week, the boy competed (and didn't win) in the boys indoor season and then "changed" to win the state title as a girl. 

Seems it should be simple.  If you are a boy, you don't compete as a girl.  If you are physically transitioning, you can't compete as long as your testosterone level is X more than normal.

The biggest question Jimmy, is why do you have MSN on your news feed.  Man that was hard to read without vomiting.  Blaming parents that want a fair field for the suicide rate of transgender kids?

One of the girls that lost to a boy made a great subtle point.  We are punishing the majority to make an exception for a small minority.

the statement I found interesting by the author was that natural born kids werent losing scholarships by losing to transgender athletes.... uhm how are they not?  if transgenders are allowed to compete in college who are the colleges going to give the scholarships to,   the natural born boy competing as a girl that wins,  or the natural born girl that tries hard but didnt win?  and if they arent allowed to compete in college then why let them compete at the HS level?

Unfortunately, your question has already been answered.  It has been decided that men and women are exactly the same in every way.  To say otherwise is sexist... and a fire-able offense.  And, no: I didn't get that from an onion article.  A number of folks have been fired for suggesting that there are differences between males and females.

There's an entire 'nother can-o-worms when it comes to hormone therapy and the substances that go into a transitioning person's body; some of the things that go into the transition process would cause other athletes to be flagged for P.E.Ds.

I just recently listened to Joe Rogan talk about a transgender MMA fighter who went male-to-female; fighting other females and destroying them. He commented beyond stating these fights were not right because of obvious differences in bone density and muscle mass; he stated the transition therapy meant this transitioning fighter was essentially training and preparing with athletically questionable substances in their system. Stuff that would give non-transitioning athletes a competitive advantage.

i cant wait for an entire boys basketball team to sign up as females. you dont stop this crap very easiy once it starts is the problem.

It's almost like there is more mentally wrong with transgender individuals than gender dysphoria. But no the suicide rates are so high because we treat transgender people equal to jewish people in concentration camps (suicide rate is comparable).

I think he was using sarcasm in the last sentence.  The suicide rates among transgenders is very high, but they aren't being treated like Germany's Jewish population so there must be another reason.
