Here's a good article written one month ago.

Debartolo was an amazing owner - and to this day he helps out all of his players if they are in need of anything. What he did for Clarks last year is truly wonderful. The league could use more owners like him as far as taking care of his guys as they get old and breaking down - or get some horrible disease. Stand up guy.
I didn't even know he was that old. Makes me feel older just knowing.
RIP Dwight.
Dwight moved here to Whitefish, Montana to live out his days. DeBartolo's place is on my way to the local airport. Clark kept a low profile here, but lots of folks knew he was here. DeBartolo has been a bit of a magnet for former 49ers. Joe Montana was in town about two weeks ago, and a friend of ours is a Host at one of the nice restaurants in town. He said he called him "Joe Namath" to his face...twice. Embarassed? Yup. But seriously, there is clearly respect, friendship and I'd dare say, love for Mr. Eddie.
