Any Training Camp Plans yet?

I am thinking we should pick a preseason game and do a gathering around that.  With TC being a limited ticket and it being new in the cities I am expecting those tickets to be kind of difficult to come by.  It would suck to have a gathering around tcamp but not everybody being able to actually attend tcamp.

Third preseason game is a home game  against the seahawks.  Aug 24th.  Which is a Friday.

I was going to try to get tickets for Family Night again this year.  Not sure if that's realistic with the limited amount, but I'm going to try my damnedest.  My boys (and surprisingly my wife) had a great time last year.

Yah, tix are limited now to TC  and  season ticket holders get dibs. I think general fans will get a chance too, but the first year might be tougher with all the "new curiosity" after 50+ years in Mankato. 

Vikings outline first training camp, dates in EaganThe Minnesota Vikings outlined their first training camp at their new Twin Cities Orthopedics Performance Center in Eagan, with the first full-team practice taking place on Saturday, July 28.
This year, rookies will report on July 24 and start practicing the following day. Veterans will report on July 27. Training camp is expected to be open through the second preseason game on Aug. 18.
However, capacity will be capped somewhere around 5,000 – the exact number still to be determined – on a daily basis and could be bumped up “slightly” for night practices, according to the team. Some of the practices will be held in TCO Stadium on the Vikings’ campus that is currently under construction and will hold up to 6,500 fans.
General admission tickets to all practices will be required but are free and can be reserved at the team’s web site, Vikings.com. Season ticket owners will be given the first opportunity to reserve tickets, starting sometime in early June.
The team is “exploring the idea of offering limited reserved seating or upgraded experience that will include a cost.”
Parking and shuttles will be provided, but there is a cost associated with that and the locations haven’t been set yet. On-site parking is still under consideration. The Vikings are also working with the Eagan Convention and Visitor’s Bureau on other activities, either on-site or nearby.
As with previous training camps, the team will offer daily autograph sessions with players by position group. With the new location, the Vikings store and team museum is expected to be open on time for camp.

I forgot all about it being limited tickets this year...  what a disappointment.  I suppose the “free” TC tickets will show up on craigslist/ebay for $10-20 or something.  ...“le sigh”....   A preseason game might be a good call,,, is there a plan for a regular season game getogether too?  I might have to pick one or the other with my schedule.  

I am hoping that we can do a game with Pops,  it could be his last game and it would be great to visit with him 1 more time before BRob takes his sack dance to the pro bass circuit.

I suspect the next few years will be more difficult than less with the new factor and then good luck after they win a Lombardi.
