I hope the Vikes have an interest in resigning Sherels, Sirles, and Johnson.  All have played well for us.   Didnt Stephen visit The Seahawks?

I like them all myself but one part of maintaining a quality team is by replacing those bubble guys and these three are all bubble players each year.  I think these are all positions that we need to be drafting early and will need room on the roster to protect those young guys while they settle into the pro game.

With Cousins contract added onto our defensive beasts deals our  teams success will hinge on young cap friendly players and quality vets playing above their minimal contracts.

I am already thinking don't get to attached to Cook as he will be better to be replaced in 2 years with a high round rookie than to pay him top dollar.

Sirles signed with the Carolina Panthers.

Yeah, just read about Sirles.  But i dint know about TJ.  I will miss Tom Johnson most.  He just seemed like a really decent guy.  And the shameful way he was treated by the Minneapolis police just showed how much class he has.  

Tom Johnson was pretty good. But he is getting up there. Need to make room for the young guys. Sherels is an excellent punt returner. But that is all he can do. We need someone who can play a position AND return punts. Stephen is pretty good, he's ok, but he is as good as he will ever be. Not a big loss.
