Jack Cichy - LB - BadgersWisconsin LB Jack Cichy announced he has a meeting with the Vikings scheduled in April.
Cichy would be an interesting fit for the Vikings, as he would likely rotate playing on the edge and off the ball, possibly similar to James Harrison’s days when with the Bengals. Nathan Shepherd - DL - PlayersThe Vikings plan to host Fort Hays State DT Nathan Shepherd on a pre-draft visit.
Shepherd produced an outstanding all-star circuit despite exiting a tiny program. He is an older prospect, but Shepherd showcased above average athleticism at the NFL Combine and interior disruption against top competition at the Senior Bowl. The Vikings just added Sheldon Richardson, however, a long-term option and early depth player would be Shepherd’s potential role. We are huge fans despite Shepherd being an older prospect.
Interesting guy, this Cichy. Love the value to upside ratio.

Jeff Badet - WR - SoonersOklahoma WR Jeff Badet will visit with the Vikings along with at least five other teams, according to Tony Pauline.
Badet posted outstanding athletic scores at 182 pounds, and he projects as a speed threat for opposing defenses. Non-Combine receivers have a difficult hill to climb but look for Badet's name to be called on the third day.Source: Draft Analyst Mar 15 - 10:37 AM

They want a deep threat, a guy that can stretch the field and utilize the best PA QB in the game.
Scary to think if the OL improves this year with a high pick plus the experience of Easton and Elf, how crazy good Cook is going to be, making a deep threat even more of a priority

Justin Reid - DB - CardinalStanford S Justin Reid added another visit to his schedule, this one to the Vikings.

Shepherd looked like a man among boys at The Combine. He has great bend and core strength. He brings heavy contact.
Badet is a bit spindly, but has good body control/hands. Yeah. The Team is scouting for a guy to take the top off. I love it.
Reid is sneaky good. Solid player with plus intangibles. Probably, his biggest flaw is not being his brother.
P.J. Hall - DL - BearkatsDraft Analyst's Tony Pauline passes along that Sam Houston State DL P.J. Hall "seem like a man on a mission ."
Hall (6'0/308) did not receive an invitation to the NFL Scouting Combine, but perhaps he should have. Not only did he perform well during East-West Shrine Game practices, he turned in pro day testing marks including a 38-inch vertical jump, a hearty 36 reps on the bench press and a 40-yard dash clocked as fast as 4.76 seconds -- against the wind -- and 4.68 seconds (on a second run with the wind). Hall has lined up visits with the Minnesota Vikings, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Oakland Raiders for April. He's a likely Day 3 selection next month.Source: Draft Analyst Mar 27 - 3:16 PM
