Its a miracle with today's parents that the Dad even let her attempt this after she kept falling. Usually, its you 'did great by trying!! Nice job, sweetie!!'. He gives her some nice encouragement toward the end to keep trying and she did it and she's ecstatic. Did it all herself.
Let your kids fail. Praise them when they do something actually praise-worthy. Raising a group of praise junkies.
