Cousin's Salary
Kirk will receive a 3 million signing bonus, 500,000 work-out bonus and annual salary of 22.5 million for 2018. That adds up to 26 million for the up-coming season.
Spotrac has Kirk counting as 24 million against the cap this year and then 29 mill and 31 million increases that can be absorbed with annual increased total salary caps...nice.
So last year we spent about 22.5 million on 3 QB's and if we do get Semian cheap we would probably have a cap number for 3 QB's at around 26.5 million.
Not worth getting some panties in a bunch like was being bantered around the last few weeks before the Cousins deal. We have salary cap experts who can handle their full time jobs :)
the signing bonus is spread over the 3 years. 22.5+1+.5=24 Reasonable money for this year. The next two could get a little tight though there is some money likely coming off the books too.
