edit: nevermind, I was thinking Siemian was the first rounder.  Confused because he looked like the better QB of those 2.

Maybe Sloter was missing him.

Report: Broncos fielding offers for Siemian

The Denver Post's Nicki Jhabvala reports the Broncos have been fielding trade offers for Trevor Siemian.
Siemian is expected to be shipped out via trade or release at some point this offseason after the addition of Case Keenum. GM John Elway evidently prefers not to totally give up on former first-rounder Paxton Lynch, even though Siemian has arguably shown more as an NFL player despite his seventh-round draft status. Denver may also select a passer early in April's draft.

On Wednesday, Ian Rapoport of NFL.com reported the Minnesota Vikings were "finalizing a trade" for the fourth-year quarterback. The Broncos will send Siemian and a "late-round" 2018 pick to Minnesota in exchange for a 2019 draft pick from the Vikings, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Could this be a cap relief move for the Broncos? Not sure what his cap hit is, but since they are also sending us a pick, you have to wonder. 

You never know I guess...under a different coaching staff and John D as his OC why couldn't TS improve? We're all hoping KC will clean up some of his shortcomings and improve with John D as his whisperer.

Schefter reported its Simeon and a late round 2018 pick from Denver for a 2019 pick from the vikes.  Didnt say what round pick

I really like Siemian as a backup. Young, plenty of starting experience. I don't like the idea that we had to trade for him though. Wouldn't he have been released? Doesn't sound like we gave up much though I guess.
