Best of luck, TB. Don't let the New York media eat you alive and change that upbeat nature.
:( Would have rather seen Teddy end up in Miami...or Arizona....yuck...
But, I hope the very best for him. I am going to miss Teddy very much!

agreed. Can't stand the Jets, but wish Teddy the best.
Could end up being the steal of free agency. Won't look like it for a while though. That team has a long ways to go.
It's going to be so weird seeing Teddy, Sam, and Case all in different uniforms next year. I've become big fans of all 3 players during their time here.
Hmm, IF he actually has other options I wouldn't pick the Jets. Their fans are about as big of douchebags as the Eagles. The last few days I'd been hearing people saying Bills. I really don't know why Buffalo would even be interested. They seemed to hate Taylor and couldn't get rid of him fast enough, yet his numbers there were pretty much exactly what Teddy's pre-injury numbers were, if not slightly better.
Yep, weird to see them all go. I imagine that this is a small taste of what it's like when your kids grow up and move away?
Where QB's go to die. Horrible choice...if he had one.
Congrats and good luck Teddy. Nothing but love for him.
Man, sounds like all the rumors were true. Cousins to Vikes, Teddy and McCown to Jets, Keenum to Denver, Bradford to Arizona...
Word in Denver is the Broncos will also draft a QB high in the draft. Curious if the Jets will. Interesting that they have back to back picks at 5 and 6 in the draft.
The Jets just signed Josh McNown as the starter. I think TB is going to have to fight his way back to being a starter, nothing will be handed to him.
Newsday reports recently re-signed Jets QB Josh McCown has been informed he will be the team's 2018 starter.
The Jets reportedly remain interested in free agent Teddy Bridgewater, however. They also remain candidates to select a quarterback on Day 1. Going on 39, McCown has never started more than 13 games in his career. He hit that number in 2017 but is a long shot to do it in back-to-back seasons. Despite McCown's $10 million contract, the Jets shouldn't be close to done at quarterback.

Its telling.....and sad.@"StickyBun" said: The Jets just signed Josh McNown as the starter. @"StickyBun" said:It is telling, but IMO it was that he still isn't back all the way. And we need a QB now, not a possible future guy.@"Vikeking2" said:Teddy's career is a big question mark now. I remember Geoff did say a week or so back that the Vikings had told Teddy they'd like him back but not as starter. If Teddy isn't too mad about everything maybe he'd come back. As much as he'd probably be in a real competition in camp with McCown, I wonder if he'd consider coming back to his familiar place at least 1 more year, on the outside chance that with more time to heal he'd be in a better place health-wise to compete for a starting job next year.

I agree with you I think Teddy rushed back to soon. Them injuries take 24 months for recovery and Teddy was back in 16 months.
Hope his knee fully heals and Teddy gets lots of playing time with the Jets.

My conspiracy is this. When Bradford went down, we were a skinny horseshoe away from Sushi raw Sloter starting for a championship caliber team. So Bradford was "week to week". Then Teddy was activated and Bradford went on the IR. Hmmm, convenient. Then Zimmer allowed the speculation that Teddy may replace Case at any time to percolate so nobody questioned if Teddy was truly healthy. Then when Bradford is healthy, Teddy is suddenly deactivated. Seems like Zimmer was protecting Case from being targeted because our backup for most of the season was Sloter.
And, perhaps that is why Teddy was unhappy. He may have felt used by all that. Which he likely was.
