Vikings coach Mike Zimmer said Dalvin Cook (ACL) will be "pretty close" to ready by OTAs. It would be a surprise if the Vikings push their young running back during the offseason program, but this update seems to confirm he will be all systems go by the time training camp rolls around. Cook gained 444 yards from scrimmage with two touchdowns in four games as a rookie. As long as he is healthy, he will be an RB1 heading into the 2018 season.

I hope Cook's comeback from an ACL injury is as successful as AD's was.  Not likely, though. AD was a monster.

Fingers crossed on Dalvin....I think he could have been a difference maker in the playoff's. Will be interesting to see how he's used next season.

I thought he was getting too many carries early on -- but then I remind myself he was an early front-runner for OROY before he went down.

Great news, we'll need him.  Sounds likely we'll lose Jet.  Hopefully we can draft a mid/late rounder to help carry the load, and also pair up with Murray in case Cook has setbacks.

Part of that workload could have been due to Murray's ankle...

i think it was more Xmas day syndrome.... you get a new toy,  you are going to play the fuck out of that new toy to find out what all it does.  however,  these are football players,  they have likely been bell cows their whole lives.
