So how will DeFilippo go about analyzing our "current" QB's?
Have been wondering this morning about this. First, Im sure he will get the low down on the health of TB and Sam. He has seen Sam and Case play from an opponents view point. But how much does he know about TB / Slotter and their abilities and where they're at?
Does he have a sit down with each QB and interview them to get a better feel for their QB IQ? Does he run all of them through a day of watching them throw up close and personal to get a real evaluation of their arms/ their "touch" on shorter throws / accuracy both mid and long throws and see what are the real strengths and weaknesses (And can he actually do this since the season is over?)? Or does he just go on what he sees on film etc. and what he hears from the coaches who have seen them on the practice field/ games?
Just very curious how he is going to evaluate the current guys we may try to retain at QB, knowing he will want the guy who is going to fit his system.
We would be f**ked at the QB position if we we not such a gifted team. Really sucks to think that we have to let someone go who has either played great OR we invested a 1st rounder or more to bring in. Typical purple shit
If I had to pick between Case and Teddy... the descriptions listed by Jimmy (from DeFilippo) seem to fit Teddy more than Case.

Nice guy, not so good QB.
Hmm... the description could be Sloter - big guy (6'4 / 218lb), mobile, great arm. Just inexperienced. A perfect candidate for our new OC to work his magic with!

I think it should be pretty easy. Look at Kirk Cousins and what he has done and then be done with it.

Ok... then I decided I'm going to spin it 5 times total... you know.. to make it scientific.
Next spin... Kirk.
3rd spin... Teddy.
4th spin... Sloter.
Final spin... Kirk.
All I can conclude from this is that we're going to sign Cousins and that Teddy's contract will toll. Sloter remains our developmental QB.
BOOM

Just to cloud the issue, my experiment had 2 Teddys, 2 Cases, and 1 other....Doesn't bode well for Sam.
Flip after reviewing all the film: 'Hey Rick....how much for Cousins again?'
Putting the names in a hat would be a good start. Draw a name and then roll the dice to decide how much to pay them. Seems reliable enough.

There it is AJ McCarron!
