So when do The Vikings need to make a call on a qb?
What are the league year or league periods that will determine when our beloved Vikings publicly declare their qb choice?
Hurry-up Vikings, we ain't getting any younger!
Prior to FA. There was an excellent read (are we allowed to post off other viking boards??) on the cap condition and our own internal guys that need contracts. But the conclusion was that if you want Case via franchise tag we don't get any splashes in FA just 3rd tier guys to fill roster spots. If we go with Sam and Teddy we end up in the same boat. If we go with Teddy only we likely get 1 or 2, 1st or 2nd tier guys along with resigning all our young talent.
So it becomes a pick your poison type decision. Do you go with Teddy's knee at a lower price and hope for the best or do you sign Case since he made a dang good case for himself to be back as a starter?
I'm befuddled as to the right decision but to be frankly honest I was 100% on the Case train for months but I'm starting to see the logic in going back to Teddy with the hopes of bringing in a dynamic 3T and/or OG/OT.
