Have You Enjoyed The "What the Cameras Didn't Show you" Series? Check this out
The Vikings have invited us to cover the game in Philadelphia. We had not planned to go, and were ending our coverage after training camp, 2 preseason games, 6 road games and an awesome NFC Divisional playoff. But, when the question came if we wanted to go, we simply could not say no.
We will do our best to bring you what the cameras don't show you on television and, should we win, and finally advance to the Super Bowl, we will get Pete on camera for one last post game show of 2017. We will bring our SKOL Chant and our "Bring It Home" towels, and tell 'em "we are VikeFans.com"
Seems like the Vikes are saying you've earned it!... I agree!
Way to go Tom!
Why not at least consider (if the Vikes play )doing the SB? Wouldn't you likely get purple carpet treatment being a home team reporting team?
How cool is that? Congrats, and we'll be waiting for your report!
Great to hear! Congrats!
“What the camera didn’t show you” is one of my favorite things to read after a game.

I don't know how much control the Vikes have for that one. I think even full time news networks can't get in to cover the big game. I've seen networks have to use tv shots of press conferences for their stories.
Congratulations Mike and Tom, all the hard work is being rewarded. Please take time to be fans at least for a minute or two this sunday. Enjoy the shit out of philly and the game.
And remember these 3 simple words....
One
Wit
Whiz
Oh and have your money ready.
Enjoy!
Congratulations Tom! Bring the team and the victory back home with you!

It's not about consideration. It is about how many mainstream press members submit for credentials with the NFL to cover events. They do (and should) get priority, as they are full time coverage of the team and NFL. For the game on Sunday, there were probably 300 press people there (normal is about half that amount) and for the Super Bowl, it is more than 3,000 media members, and many don't even get credentials to go to the game. So, it's not about want, but space and reality. The Vikings have treated us VERY well. We did not go to Green Bay or London this year (too hard for us to do it with our regular lives), but we were invited to both. Can't say enough for how much they have worked with us.
I feel like this is a good luck thing for the team, Tom! Pretty dang awesome to be invited along by the Vikings :D
