My Good Luck Charm
Good Day All!
Some may be aware of some recent health issues I've been dealing with, and the outpouring of support from friends, and family has been nothing short of overwhelming. To that end...
The other day, I went to the door to find a FedEx Package waiting for me. I opened it, and found a card that was from my co-workers, and the following:
In the card is a note saying, "Cert of authenticity is on its way, and I have a newer one for you to wear if you're going to frame this one. Hope having this during your playoff run helps with your recuperation! Get well!"
A couple notes before I go further...
- I'm pretty much a guy that doesn't generally like much attention. Walking in a public place is pretty uncomfortable for me at this point because I seem to attract a bunch of curious looks. Short of wearing a scarf, the scar (9") can't really be hidden. Getting this much attention over something like this, blows my mind. So for my teammates to think of me in this way is uncomfortable, yet pretty amazing.
- I have owned exactly one jersey in my entire life... The prior jersey style, and it was Adrian Peterson. Needless to say, the jersey is pretty ugly, and I'm not a huge fan of wearing it at this point (I actually can't wear it, because I feel like it's a jinx...). So to have something like this is awesome!
You'd be correct in assuming that Diggs is my new favorite Viking!
I've held off on sharing, but figure today is as good a day as any! The Jersey is at Michaels being framed in a Purple Matte over a Gold background... once complete (another week), I'll take a pic and share!

I looked over, and my Wife was on her knees with her head in her hands sobbing, and I looked over, and my 14 year old was screaming with tears in her eyes, and my 11 year old was jumping and crying. An amazing scene!
Team- we've been on the other end of too many of these, that it feels magical to be on the right side of one!
