Here's an interesting one -- league source says Vikings plan to dress Sam Bradford on Sunday vs. Saints. He hasn't suited up since Week 5 with a knee injury. Unclear if Teddy Bridgewater will also dress.

If Case goes down ... and Teddy shits the bed ... And Sam was ready - eh.

If Case goes down.... and Sam is still hearing footsteps.... and Teddy was ready - eh.

the questions around Sam are just as many and just as valid as those Teddy is carrying.

I think it's smart seeing that it's very likely neither Bradford nor Bridgewater will be with the Vikings next season anyway.  Just play the guy who gives you the best chance in winning should Keenum get injured during the playoffs.  I don't think there's much doubt Bradford is that guy if he's healthy, leaving emotion out of it.

Yes they have yet to activate Sam which also means waiving someone to make room

So I think the real question is, "active" or "activate".

They could activate Sam, but not make him active for the game.

Right but they haven't activated him yet.   So he can't be active for a game until they do.

I'd be surprised as well. Not trying to read into anything too much, but if Bridgewater is inactive, doesn't that tell you the organization might be moving on from him? If you're saying Bradford gives us a better chance to win if Keenum goes down than Teddy, then why the hell sign Teddy next year?
I guess it is a short term vs long term issue.

Bradford might be good to go for a few games this year, but with his age and history, he might not be a long term solution.

Teddy might not be ready now, but might be a viable solution ling term.

My opinion - Teddy doesn't have a future in the NFL.  I'd go with Case and sloter.  Sign Bradford if he is healthy unless we steal a good prospect in draft

JMO, but that short term-long term logic doesn't make sense. This is bad news for Bridgewater as a Viking if this is true. If Teddy wasn't ready, they wouldn't have activated him as the #2 during the season. The only thing that has changed since TB was active is that Bradford is now 'ready' to play....and the rumor is he'll dress. And if he dresses, why keep 3 QBs active for a playoff game? Doesn't make sense. What this says to me, and maybe only me, is that the team feels like Sam is the better backup option and could win the game if Keenum gets injured.

Now this is still a rumor at this point. But if it holds true, I just don't see TB being a part of the equation for the 2018 regular season. Again, JMO.

3rd QB is only for emergency and doesn't count against the Active roster.

either something is still physically wrong with Bridgewater (or he re-injured something)
And/or he's sucked in practice
Or he's not hurt, he hasn't sucked in practice and Sam is just looking that much better

Or it is just a Rumor.  Zimmer said he hadn't decided yet.

you used to be right,  but that changed in 2011 when the league expanded the game day roster to 46 players.

Sure, that too...

I've also learned not to trust anything Zimmer says to the press.

Not sure where that leaves us lol!

"Every question that you ask, if there’s a possibility, and there’s always a possibility of everything."

I think the biggest possibility is that Zimmer loves to f**k with the media

who wouldnt,  if I was a coach I would start every mid week press conference with an apology to the fans and then not give the media a damn thing to work with.

Bradford is the obvious choice if Case is pulled for being ineffectual.  They'll keep Case in until they're sure a change is needed.  At that point we'll be behind late needing quick scores.  Bradford's stronger arm and quicker release can get us more yards more quickly than Bridgewater's.
