This defense is something else. Loved seeing Linval make that safety happen. Those goal line stands were a thing of beauty. The defense works so well as a unit. They feed off each other. Terence Newman plays so smart. Waynes made some nice plays today too. Always nice to see BRob get a sack.
The offense was up and down but it's understandable with the moving parts and Chicago has a good defense. Murray and McKinnon helped a lot today. Thielen had 90 catches this year and Diggs is the fastest Viking to 200 receptions. Keenum bought time with his legs several times. Good stuff guys.
Nice job, Tom and Pete,
I agree with the closing statements about taking time to enjoy this. Last season was gut wrenching the way things went after that strong start. Then we lose Sam and Dalvin early in the season, and we pretty much expect the worst.
But, look at this team now. It's tied for best record in the league, and no team has a better D.
Not sure what's going to happen, but for now, I'm nothing but smiles for this team for the next two weeks. =)
