Not that I'm counting, but I closed on a house day after Christmas...my personal come back is now complete...less than 10 minutes from the beach or downtown... plenty of room for me, my girlfriend, and our 3 dogs...pool, Jacuzzi, and 6' privacy fence...less than 10 minutes from work...
For anyone having a rough go, keep the faith, keep grinding, things will turn...

Congrats. It usually takes longer than you think to test your patience and strength. But savor the moment and appreciate the blessings. The struggle may have kicked your ass a bit but you kicked back. Celebrate the victory.

Congrats Barr.  Thats awesome.  Great to see you bounce back.

With all of my time in the military and bouncing around, I have never owned a home. I’m near 60 now and my wife and I are out looking at houses.  It seems a little terrifying.
