Collins says Apple is a cancer ...
Wow. Landon Collins said teammate Eli Apple is a cancer. Obviously, he wants Apple gone. And in Seattle, Earl Thomas wants to be on the Cowboys. Meanwhile, over in Vikingland, Case and Teddy seemto be each other's main cheerleader. And the best safety in the league does not care at all that he was snubbed from the Pro Bowl. Thanks, Zim. That's quite a team you are building here.

Losing brings out the worst and winning the best in people, human nature.
Lots of teams are losing. Not many have one teammate describe another as a cancer.
Watching the tape on Apple was one thing, but the off-field issues were massive red flags. He was handed everything and never had to work or deal with adversity. There are not a ton of players out there that are successful on the NFL level without being somewhat self-sufficient.

Here I thought this was another Mac vs. Windows thread.
Got sounds like a piece of work...
Just got suspended:

"Earlier today, the New York Daily News reported that, before Apple was suspended, he said, “I gotta take a shit” and laughed as he walked away from reporters after a media session."
Seems like a smart guy...
What a jackass.

Because Apple was suspended for conduct detrimental to the team, it opens the door for the Giants to void his guaranteed money and cut his dead cap hit in half.
Where Apple ends up in 2018 remains to be seen, but there's no denying he's done irreparable harm to his reputation and cost himself millions upon millions of dollars.
Anyone remember the anonymous scout who spoke to Bob McGinn about Apple before he was drafted?
"I worry about him because of off-the-field issues. The kid has no life skills. At all. Can't cook. Just a baby. He's not first round for me. He scares me to death."
The dude has talent but needs to get his head out.
He fits the physical profile of what we look for in a corner, but now the question is whether he's just immature and needs to go to a new situation and grow up or if he has deeper personality issues that aren't so easy to fix? Alexander and Munnerlyn both had personality issues their first year with the Vikings, but both players eventually bought in and stepped up their game. He could be worth a gamble as we'll need to add 2 more corners for next year, though getting publicly called out by veterans like that is highly unusual, so maybe he's not worth the risk.
Expect more and more of it in the future. Since parenting isn't allowed anymore. Every snot nosed kid is entitled. THIS is what the future holds for America. Well done....
