Released Or Euthanized, I'm Good Either Way
We'll see if anything comes of it, but it sure seems like Green Bay made a mockery of the IR rules.
Not sure if this is a big deal or not....or just something to get panties in a bunch over. But if its wrong, its wrong.
What? Packers bending/breaking NFL rules? No way..... no fucking way. AND favoritism does not exist in NFL.
Saw that coming. Im surprised the Packers tried to do it. I doubt the league will do anything about it. Erin and all...
Rogers was healthy enough to play, but they were afraid he'd get more hurt for a meaningless game for them. I think it just shows what a classless organization they really have. Basically, they tanked the this game. Rogers was healthy enough to almost win the game in Carolina, and would've played last night if they still have a chance for the playoffs. No way should he be on IR.
Then, their pussy head coach sits a bunch of his defesive starters. It almost seemed like the other "stars" didn't want to play, since their starting QB wasn't going to play.
I don't remember seeing any team give up the way the Packers did before the game even started. They did't even want to knock off the Viking in this one. It seemed to me they wanted the loss to help their draft position.
I have no respect for Thompson, McCarthy, and/or Rogers. No way would I expect Zim to ever coach that way.
I think if he is not released then it shows that the league is completely fixed they r in a pickle. I don't think the other teams should let this fade away it's also a joke the Seahawks got for a penalty fir Wilson concussion skip .they have been caught bending if u will the rules as much as the Patriots or more .then let's not talk about the league going little on certain players for cheap hits but leveling the hammer on others like sendejob on a very bang bang hitter there r the officiating through the league just not the Viking so games add all this together it paints a ugly pic time for them to clean all this cap up and no better place to start than Rodgers release.
I'd love to see this blow up into a big deal, I mean REALLY LOVE to see it. I'm sick of the fudge and Pats and Seahawks and their loopholes. I hope the rest of the league decides to squawk plenty about this and makes ol' Rog actually work for his 100 mil.

Fuck the Packers.
Fuck Aaron Rodgers.
Fuck their fans.
Suck it Green Bay.
This entire thread makes me super thankful we have Zim and a real culture of awesome here. Win or lose I can be proud to be a fan of this team.

Lol. I figured someone else would fill in the blanks. Good job.
If the NFL investigates this, that means at some point interviewing Rodgers about whether he did get a new injury with Rodgers knowing that if he says no, he's a free agent. Let's hope Rodgers treats the Pack like family.
Saturday night saw a first at Lambeau Field.
Minnesota Vikings defensive end Brian Robison during a timeout, standing inside the Packers’ 10 with about six minutes to play, leading ecstatic Vikings fans at the north end of the stadium in their rhythmic “skol” chant and overhead claps, with more than enough purple in Lambeau’s bowl to make it worthwhile.
How appalling it must have been for everyone in the Packers’ football operations to witness that scene, and later, as the final couple minutes ticked off the clock, nothing but purple lining the seats behind the Vikings’ bench as they wrapped up a 16-0 victory on the Packers’ turf.
If I was AR I'd give at least a seconds worth of thought of saying "No, I was benched without cause". Why? Look at the AFC right now. Behind an aging Big Ben and Tom Brady that entire conference could be a cake walk of getting to the SB year after year. (Of course I'm saying this because I want him out of the NFC) :)
I was kinda wondering how his weekly game checks work out when he's on IR.
Who wouldnt be pissed if they missed a chunk of game checks, came back for one, and then got shut down again for the same injury?
