It's long overdue. He was going to break Deshaun Watson. He got rid of Hopkins. It can't get any worse.

Like @Bullazin said, his on-field results are actually solid. They beat Buffalo in the playoffs last year, after all.
His results really aren't that dissimilar to Mike Zimmer's-- including so far this season-- so it's interesting he got canned and Zim got 3 more years. He's had Watson that whole time so you could make the argument he should have done a lot more, but I think the real problem was his roster management and GM moves. He's made a number of bone-headed trades and signings and it cost him a lot of goodwill in Houston.
He'll catch on as a coordinator somewhere I bet, or he can HC a big time college program. He excelled at Penn State.

Not sure it's likely, but Quinn has a Super Bowl run on his resume so I don't think Zimmer should be digging someone else's grave.

A source tells me that JJ Watt and Bill O’Brien had a heated exchange on the practice field the week of the Steelers game in which JJ called BOB out for his coaching ability. It began a player revolt that ended up getting BOB fired.

BTW the first time I read the title of this thread "O'Brien is out" for some reason I conflated Brian O'Neill's Name with that for some goofy reason and thought our RT  was out for the season!  Man I hate 2020!

The rumors are also that when BB fired somebody, he yelled and dropped F bombs and was a complete asshat.

Yea when BOB was on hard knocks it was almost comical how many F bombs he dropped, I was actually embarrassed for their players it was so bad!
