2018 Schedule
2018 SCHEDULE Wrapping up the NFC North assured the Vikings will play a game at Philadelphia next season. According to the NFL scheduling format, they will play on the road against the NFC East winner.
Only one foe is not known for Minnesota’s 2018 schedule. The Vikings will play host to the NFC South winner, which will be New Orleans, Carolina or Atlanta.
The Vikings knew all their other 2018 opponents prior to the start of the season.
They will have games home and away against division rivals Chicago, Detroit and Green Bay; play host to Arizona, San Francisco, Buffalo and Miami, and on the road against the Rams, Seattle, New England and the New York Jets.

Hurry-up Vikings, we ain't getting any younger!
Yikers, some really tough road games there...Home games are kind of yawners unfortunately.

Minnesota is going to have some outdoor cold games next year, which sucks. That is a killer schedule. Hey, we'll have Dalvin Cook back! Bring it on.
well that schedule sets up as 7-1 at home, 5-3 on the road.
we looked at the 2017 schedule and said the samething, ugh start with the Saints, Pittsburgh on the road, the last two NFC champs in their house (ATL, CAR), another game in Washington. Always looks tough the year before
Really hope we play the Eagles at The Bank...the girlfriend will insist on going to that game regardless...I don't want to end up in jail...or maimed...or both...

As a season tix holder, I wish the home and away schedule were flipped. Much rather go to see NE, Rams, Seattle at home than Buffalo, SF, Miami...Snooze.
Oh yeah I get to go to a game next year. I will be at the LA game.
My kid is in Altadena, CA...Might have to head to that Rams game too. Depends on what time of year it is..Nov/Dec much more compelling for me then Sept.

Certainly more than this year for the regular season with just Green Bay, but maybe not more than a normal year.
- Green Bay: It's likely they'll have to go late next year since the NFL seems to enjoy "making that happen to the Vikings" in December.
- Philly: This might have a good chance to be their week 1 opponent or an early primetime game.
- Chicago: The trend for going there has been earlier in the season, which could flip
- NYJ: Crappy team so maybe more likely an early season visit
- New England: depending on what happens in the playoffs this could be an early season or very late (like the Philly game)... Early if it's a Super Bowl rematch ;)
Wasn't there some talk of possibly playing in London again in '18?

Brutal road schedule...Get ready for lots of prime time, 3:00'ers too.
8-0 at home. 4-4 on the road is good enough for the division title
There isn't really a reason to look into this all that much since the off-season always changes everything. A year ago the Vikings away slate in 2017 looked like:
@GB, @Det, @Chi, @Pit, @Cle (London), @Car, @Atl, @Was
Going to Chi is never easy for the Vikings and the idea of playing against 5 playoff teams and a likely resurgent Carolina squad seemed really tough. It seemed to end up working out alright with MN finishing 6-2.

I know Brady always teases decline, but many close observers of the Pats are convinced he's in a serious one now. And he'll be 41 next season. The Seahawks window is likely closing. Who knows what happens to that roster, but I think it's rebuilding time. The Eagles? It's estimated that the Eagles will be 16M over the cap in 2018. Many Eagles writers have suggested that they need to win this year because they will be in cap hell next year. No reason to believe the Rams won't continue to improve, so that will be a tough one.As Bud Grant used to say, "it's not who you play, but when you play 'em."
Well, the Old Trapper was spot-on when he said that, its true to this day. IT was nice this year having all the noon, Sunday games. I suspect that wont be the case in 2018, especially if our Vikings make a deep playoff run (or more)
