One talking head all in on vikings
They asked on Fox if any teams separated themselves today. Jimmy Johnson said the Vikings are the only team right now he trusts.
Keenum is playing as well as any QB in the league right now. Minnesota gets just enough in the running game and their defense is stellar.
If they don't turn it over, they'll be as good as anyone in the NFL in the playoffs.
I guess I wasn't all that impressed with our play today. But, considering the talking heads only look at the scoreboard, I'm sure we look like world-beaters to them.

Tony Dungy gave a nod to the Vikings just now before the late game (Dal. / Oak)
They did what they needed to do today and did it right from the opening kick-off. Honestly it was about perfect though a FG before half and a score to open the 2nd half and maybe they could have got the back up more snaps. Case played abut as god as he has all season, the OL is getting by with some injuries to deal with.
The problem now is I'm starting to get some confidence in them and that is usually when shit goes south.

They could have kept the pedal down but there was no point.
We've seen em sharper on offense than today previously. But s hit, they're 11/3 and potentially on the verge of something very, very special.
No complaints from me...They bitch-slapped a bad team, like they should have.
SKOL!!
Need to clean up the penalties, 11 today was way too many.

@"Maple Surple" said:A blow out was expected against a team that has given up and is missing as many players as they were. 11 penalties suggests that our team wasn't focused and that will cost them agaisnt a better opponent.@"pumpf" said: I guess I wasn't all that impressed with our play today. OL hasn't been as sharp for the last few games...but, I'm happy with 11-3 and looking forward to getting the broom warmed up for GB...
Keep in mind: we're hyper critical as hardcore fans. We dissect and judge every play. Mostly, we are too close to the trees.

Maybe...but 11flags really put a damper on things...I didn't feel like we were crisp of O...ask me what we did particularly well on O...I got nothing...holding the Bengals way under 200 yards was pretty sweet...BRob with 2 sacks...the pick 6...Newman's int...looked like the Bengals were pretty flat coming off the Lewis announcement...

The offense had 346 yards, 35:52 minutes of time of possession (almost 12 minutes more than Cincy), 18 first downs...not great, but not crappy either. The 4 out of 12 on 3rd down wasn't good, for sure. 27 points on offense is decent and probably the best aspect of what the defense gave them. Keenum was highly efficient.Again, not their best game but not something I'd be concerned about. Its not going to be a high powered offense like some others in the league, but more effective and efficient by design, with some consistent chunk plays each game.
We went against a decent team despite their record. Good defense.
And they know Zimmer.
I felt like the win was dominant enough to make a statement. We are a legit contender.
