Fickle football gods
Two nights ago following the announcement that Erin rogers was coming back to save football, I dreamt that he'd get rolled up on his first pass attempt and re-break his collar bone. I'll admit I didn't shed a tear.
Last night I guess the football gods felt I needed a gut check as I dreamt two dreams about Sundays Game. First dream we couldn't stop the run and were casing RB's all over the field (score unknown). Second dream the wheels were coming off---both running and passing and we were down 38-0 at halftime . Guess the football gods felt karma
We're Viking's fans: we're all damaged goods. Too many inevitable disappointments. We just have to fight thru the angst and enjoy the ride as best we can. Its been such a fun year, just trying to take it one game at a time.
