I’ve wondered about Remmers. I think even if it’s just him that is able to come back we will be ok. Reiff would be a bonus.

I love Mike Zimmer, but I'll never again believe anything he says about injuries.

So translating Zim injury speak, Remmers and Elflein are game time decisions and Reiff and Rudolph are out for at least the next 2 games.

If he sez they are likely back, that usually is true.  If he doesn't say anything, that is when they are really hurt.

Remmers I'm not surprised about, nor Elflein really either....we'll have to see about Reiff. I believe they have Hill practicing at the LT spot just in case this week.

Based on what I've heard I'd be most concerned with Rudy suiting up. I think Reiff probably has a good shot since his high ankle sprain was minor and its really a pain tolerance issue.

Hopefully Morgan is ok...we might need to look at TE in the draft...

Elflein is the linchpin... When we start moving what I consider the weakest link on our line to fill in at a position that he's much worse at, the whole line takes a giant step back. Remmers in my mind is about the same level if not a half step behind Hill at this point, and Hill will hold his own for a game or so at LT if needed, so not overly concerned there.

Either way I'd imagine they'll look at TE's in FA and the draft. The combination of Rudy/Morgan works well, but they could use another receiving option. You could call it a luxury for the time being, but Rudy only has two years left on his current deal.

What is Elfien's nick?   I'm hoping to get him back to set the line and bring the mauling line mentality and pull option'

If you really want to understand the scope of how much the staff is adjusting to injuries.  Would Randle have been the clear winner of whom to bring forward to this year if Floyd's surgery hadn't been screwed up?
