Did Wentz injury shift NFC Balance of Power?
How much less effective are the Eagles with Wentz out? Chances are they'll still be #1 seed and playing at home. Their D is still good and Foles didnt look bad coming off the bench.
We'll see how effective he is when DC's can game plan him a bit more...
Hurry-up Vikings, we ain't getting any younger!
....not to mention that Philly's schedule is very soft the remainder of the year. I still think they hold onto the #1 seed. Honestly, I'm a little (just a little) concerned that Minnesota can hold the #2 spot. They should be able to as their schedule is also mostly friendly.
Beating Rams, Saints and Falcons was huge...they're on our tails.
wish we coulda beat the Panthers.
that first round bye will give guys a chance to heal up...gotta get this done
I think Foles is a decent QB, but not great. They might win out to stay at the #1 seed, but they'll have a hard time winning in the playoffs. I don't see any cream puffs making the playoffs in the NFC this year.
Even as a #2 seed, I think the Vikes have a good shot at keeping home field throughout the playoffs. They just have to keep winning.
PF, my answer is definitely "Yes".
Let me ask you this (or anyone else); what team has the better starting QB, Eagles or Vikings? B)
I like our chances against them way better with Foles as their QB.
According to ESPN power rankings, beating the Rams while losing Wentz makes the Rams better than the Vikings again... :p

I don't know that it's "soft"... they have a division game on the road in Foles first start this season... the Giants aren't a good football team, but they are familiar with the Eagles and weird shit happens in these division games. Reference the 10-2 Patriots losing to 5-7 Miami on the road last night... Then the Eagles play an Oakland team that went 12-4 last season and is currently fighting for their playoff lives in a tight division race. They finish up with the Cowboys who will have Zeke back...
It wouldn't surprise me at all if they stumble a bit down the stretch.
eagles will lose two of last three. not sure if that pushes then out of first round bye.
vikings are going to get home field advantage by winning out

The Giants are 2-11. Not sure how this isn't considered soft, regardless of division.
That Division hates each other worse than our division! lol
Losing Wentz is huge if you care about who has homefield for fhe NFCCG.
& a lot can still happen before this season ends too !
Home field advantage is big, but so is having your best players on the field
Our O line has reached its tipping point & can't afford another ding
A shift? Maybe slightly. The NFC was/is up for grabs. I think any of the teams to make the playoffs have a shot of getting to the Super Bowl. Even with Wentz, the Eagles were beatable.
The Vikings, Rams, Saints, Falcons, and the rest of the playoff contenders can beat any team on any given Sunday.
I think the Vikings have a great shot just bcause of their defense. I also don’t think Sunday’s game against the Panthers was indicative of our defense.
I think the Panthers caught us at the perfect time. We were finishing up a tough 3 games on the road and honestly, the defense just looked tired.
Even with that, it was a one TD loss.
Foles is no slouch...the Eagles ate still the team to beat and with the saints building momentum and the Seahawks , and even the Packers looming and appearing to be getting healthy. ....this is a pick em. Perennial playoff teams are tougher outs IMO just on experience in january. The eagles vikings and rams are the better teams, but the best teams don't always win in the playoffs.
I'm not convinced the Rams are as good as their record says...Saints and Panthers are the teams I think would give us the most problems.
