It doesn’t really make sense to compare the Turner offense
to the Shurmur offense when Turners offense had a functional pass blocking line
for most of it’s run.  The Shurmur
offense is what happened after the entire OLine disintegrated and turner left
because he saw the writing on the wall.
A better article would have been, what can we expect out of a Shurmur
offense when it’s no longer crippled by its OLine.

Plus, Shurmur pretty much said when he took over that you can't really change an offense mid-season.  He ran Norv's offense but with a bigger lean on shotgun, quick release passes and more drop offs to McKinnon, so tweaks.

Bradford was really starting to sync up with Rudolph and Theilan more as the season went on so now we have a whole off season of all key offensive players learning together.

Oh and I had done some number crunching a month or so ago comparing Norv/Shurmur and Theilan and Rudolph were both targeted a little over one more time a game and Diggs stayed the same.  Not much of a difference but it may have been more dink and dunk but Shurmur did try and get the ball in our playmaker's hands a little more.

To me Cook is our Rodger Craig in the WCO - the sooner he learns to block the sooner he will be our dual threat which we have not had coming out of our backfield in a very lone time!

Roger Craig... nice comparison.
