All the top NFC teams end up playing each other in some fashion or combination in these remaining 5 games. The final playoff seedings could look different than they do right now and probably will. Good stuff. I like that Minnesota got some extra time off after that Thanksgiving win.

It will be nerve-wracking, but how much fun will this be? Couldn't ask for more as a fan. Must-see TV indeed is upon us with the remaining NFL schedule.

agreed. would like our team to take care of its
own business and win the next 3

3 vikings wins would give us 12 wins meaning that LA or NO would have to run the table to get the 2# seed

Rams have at Arizona, PHL, at Seattle, at Tenn, SF
Saints have CAR, at Atlanta, NYJ, ATL, TB

next sunday, ideal turn out
AZ beats LA, NO beats CAR and we beat ATL

It will definitely be must watch TV...  I think New Orleans and the Rams have the most potential to slide with their final 5 games.  Both could be looking at WCs after leading their divisions for the majority of the season.  Or maybe both hold on and one passes the Vikings for a playoff bye...

Should be entertaining...  I would LOVE to see if the Vikings could run the table with home field advantage throughout the playoffs.  Can a guy dream???????

IF you cant dream at 9/2?  Well then don't ever go to sleep lol!

I think somehow, overtime, the NFC became the power conference. Pitt sure looked mortal last night, even with that magnificent offense they have. Brady will be Brady. Denver is rudderless and Oakland has disappointed.

NFC South is pretty sick and the Eagles would be a tough draw and Rams too.  I think GB could still be in the picture and I would not want to play that team with Rogers in post-season. Seahawks with Russel Wilson always a threat,

I dont believe we're going to run the table over the last 5 (I'll take a split over the next 2) but yah, at least one home playoff game is where I am setting the bar right now. I gotta dream a bit too - or hang-up the fan cleats.

Exciting race, to be sure.

With the exception of Carolina, the Eagles really haven't beaten anyone good. They get the Cowboys twice without Elliot, and they have been a dumpster fire since his suspension.

The next two weeks will tell us a lot about the Vikings. If they can split or take both games from Carolina and Atlanta, that should make a pretty strong statement that they are the team to beat in the NFC. They could conceivably have wins over the entire playoff field in the NFC, with the exception of Philadelphia. While the Eagles may end up with home field throughout, they really haven't been challenged.

Right now you have to say the Eagles are the team to beat in the NFC. But there is still time.   Yesterday, Carolina's offense looked pathetic against the Jets. Their defense is good, just don't ask Robbie Anderson. They got a TD from Kuechly when Fitz "went off the reservation," and they got a punt return TD to beat the Jets by 8 points. The Jets mostly beat themselves.
Atlanta needed an incredible game from Julio Jones - like nothing he has done all year -- including a long TD pass from Sanu to Jones to beat a TB team without Winston.
Both of those teams are good, but I think the Rams and N.O. are better teams.  N.O. is definitely a better team now than the one we beat in week 1 at home.  Getting rid of Peterson and focusing on Ingram, and especially Kamara, plus the development of their defense, has made them much better.  The Rams caught N.O. without their starting CBs (the Rams were also missing Robert Woods).
So, yes, this should be a wild finish in the NFC.

I think the Vikes have a decent chance at the 1 seed.  these next 2 games are huge,  of course any given sunday... but I think if we can get by these next 2 winning out becomes very real and the Eagles have a few tough match ups remaining.

Its crazy the big NFC games this weekend:

Minnesota at Atlanta
New Orleans at Carolina
Philly at Seattle
Even LA at Arizona, divisional game as the Cardinals are trying to get a wildcard.

I see seattle taking them down to wire and their kicker missing a 27 yard chip shot to lose the game to the eagles.

The next two Sundays are MUST SEE TV.  Vikes and Eagles in very key matchups.  I'm usually impartial to the Eagles, never had a reason to hate them other than the rude fans that I've only heard about.  But when they drafted Wentz they became one of my alternate favorites.  That said I have no qualms hoping the Vikings dismantle the Eagles if they face them.

Eagle fans were assholes to me in the early 90s when I went there to see the Vikings.

They throw serious shit at people.

Same here...  then I hope Seattle loses enough games to miss the playoffs.

It's starting to feel a bit like the 70s again...this team is set up to play at a high level for an extended period...injuries and FA (players and OC) are the only possible issues...
