Before Sam and Dalvin done gone lame, I set the floor @ 9 wins.

I see 4/4 back-half, 10/6 and Norris Title.

Just win their remaining 3 home games and steal 1 on the road somewhere gets us there.

Hurry-up Vikings, we ain't getting any younger!

I'm taking the high road and say 5/3, finishing 11/5 taking the North.

The jaded pessimist in me still sees 9-7.  Those five road games are against some pretty strong home field teams.

10,Sun,November 12,1:00PM ET, @ Washington Redskins - WIN
11,Sun,November 19,1:00PM ET Los Angeles Rams - WIN
12,Thu,November 23,12:30PM ET @ Detroit Lions - WIN
13,Sun,December 3,1:00PM ET @ Atlanta Falcons - WIN
14,Sun,December 10,1:00PM ET @ Carolina Panthers WIN
15,Sun,December 17,1:00PM ET Cincinnati Bengals WIN
16,Sat,December 23,8:30PM ET @ Green Bay Packers WIN
17,Sun,December 31,1:00PM ET Chicago Bears WIN

Seriously, this could happen. Maybe we lose to Atlanta or Carolina, but neither of those teams have been that good this year.
None of these teams are all that great, IMO.

Rams, Atlanta, and Carolina have winning records, and they're very beatable. Cinci, 'Skins, Lions, Packers, and Bears don't scare me a bit.

If the offense gets rolling with Teddy or Sam in the second half, this is going to be a fun ride! B)

I had the over under at 9.5 IMO.  Right now 9 wins would be a disappointment barring a rash of injuries.  If they stay healthy and keep things together I would expect 11 wins but 10 is a pretty rational expectation.  IF Teddy were to get back in there and pick up where he left off I would be even more solidly in behind my 11 win expectation.

Anything less than winning the division would be a collapse. Just a fact. They have a 3 game lead on Detroit and Aaron Rodgers isn't playing. Not sure what else Minnesota could want.

I thought 10-6 at the beginning of the season.  That's now the floor.

We will be at least 10-6 at the end of the season.  That should be enough to win the Division.

10-6 was my mark. Win those home games. Those have to be wins. There are definitely road games I see that should be wins as well so getting 1 lousy road win at the minimum should be a given. 10-6 is the floor, but I'm hoping more like 12-4 or 11-5.

12-4

W, vs LA (return of Teddy), at Det, at Car, at GB, vs Cin, vs Chi
L, at Wash (Case last game starting), at ATL (3rd straight game on the road)

12-4 and tied for the best record in the NFC. Guarenteed a week off and at least one home game

I'm actually thinking 12-4.

Bengals, Bears, Packers, and Lions should be wins. (If we can't get 1 win against Detroit in 2 years, we're crap.)

Redskins, Rams, Falcons, and Panthers are likely tougher than our last 4 games - but winnable. Vikings should split them.

completely agree on the Detroit game. Think about the last 3 games versus them. It felt like every game we played down to their level with penalities and dumb turnovers costing us a victory.

Last  year in Minn was a complete coaching screw up by scoring too early when we didnt have to
Last Thanksgiving, when they were hot and we were not, our OL SUCKED in the red zone, costing us plenty ofnpoints in a tight game
This year, man we had that game under control, but a missed kick, the McKinnon fumble cat and the Dalvin fumble and they still barely beat us.

We owe them an ass whooping, how great would a 34 - 16 beating be on national TV to go at worst 8-3 and in full control of the division

For those that don't think we can beat the skins.   Here is the injury report for this week as they face the Seahawks http://www.redskins.com/team/injury-report.html
I know Zimmers teams have not fared well out of the bye but this team feels different than past teams.

12-4. Lose to the Rams in the regular season, beat them in the play-offs

I might consider that "sliding into the playoffs". You only with the division with that record because it's weak, and going 4-4 would pretty much prove our first half was only due to weak opponents. If this is any kind of "prove it" year for Zimmer, he should be proving his team can beat teams with winning records, not just weaker teams.

10-6 would be a disappointment unless it was followed by at least 1 playoff victory - and if we only beat losing teams, 0-1 in playoffs is pretty likely, right? 9-7 or less...is another season-ending collapse and time for serious reevaluation.

Some people have suggested I'm a cynic. (Really..) But I am predicting 12-4 because, if this team is really what a 6-2 first half suggests - a team rising to do enough to beat each opponent despite some first-half bumps, with genuine playoff qualifications - they should win their easy games and split (at least) the tougher ones. Maybe 11-5 because they got a bad bounce in a game. But if they just have a .500 second half, do we have any reason to expect a playoff run?
