Relax, a bit melodramatic? She's beautiful, is that more palatable?

No it's just honest. But I suppose I should be used to it by now. Whatever works.

And I'm honestly wondering how I 'pissed on a great moment'? Overly dramatic on your part.

It was an exciting, romantic moment, and you broke it down to "pulling some strong tail".

Maybe asking your wife that question might clue you in.  I know mine would have a few choice words for me.

Too funny. The world is such a serious place. What can I be offended by?

I wasn't offended at all, but I can see why VG might be.  Again, I'd suggest you ask your wife.  Maybe she agrees with you?

Thanks. Nice to know someone gets it. I thought it was a beautiful, romantic moment. It made me smile. So I will appreciate it for the meaning and beauty of it. In this world, you can get jaded. I love things like this because I am a romantic. And I don't give a damn if that makes me seem dramatic. Fuck that noise.

The title made me think it was a proposal to make the world series better... sadly my first thought was "how about if they play something besides baseball?"

Personally think proposing marriage is a personal thing.  Always thought these kind of things are way over the top, like he's just grasping for more attention or something.  Wasn't impressed at all.

Does it matter that we're talking among ourselves on a message board that surely no one involved will see?

Depends on what it means to them. Maybe they met at a baseball game? Maybe he wanted to make the most exciting day of his life about his wife instead of baseball? We don't know why he did it, but she seems happy, and that's what matters.
