This Is As Bad As Last Year
The one constant is KC. Maybe turn the play calling to Frank Smith? He went away from what had worked the last 11 games. Passing on the FG was just stupid.

The one constant is poor QB play. Jesus Christ could be calling the plays and Kyler would find a way to shit the bed.
Despite everything Kevin has said, he knows what he has in Kyler and I’m guessing he’s regretting everything. He wishes he still had Darnold, he never liked McCarthy, and he whiffed on Kyler.
If there was any kind of rhythm or anything to show yes this is going in the right direction I would say let's go with Murray. There is not it is pathetic you could tell they were fucked after his first pass of the year. Go with wentz. He is not the answer will get sacked a ton but he can get the ball to the wr's named Jefferson. In the long run there is no QB on this roster that will make a difference this year. I just can't stomach to watch Murray anymore...

Just Average QB play though? No? Okay, nevermind.
Yup, he’s not getting it done. Really thought we’d turn the corner after NO. Regressing.
Feel better?

No, I don't. I had super high hopes he would work out. It sucks because now what or where do we turn? Keep rolling or what other option could happen?
If Buffalo beats us at our house next week and the offense struggles again, I think you have to go to Wentz. Probably it would take 2 more losses but I’m getting close to calling it with Murray.
KOC did him no favors today. That was a winnable game but because we tried and failed miserably to pass on a bad defense instead of sticking to a balanced attack and shortening the game, our D finally wore down.

I’ll say it again:
29 passes
18 rushes
KC went away from what was working during the 11 game win streak.

I also thought the game was winnable, but alas......

Jeffersons comments on the offense were not directed at KOC. No way to spin it. He isn't saying that KOC needs to come prepared everyday. That is the issue here. It isn't KOC. That is an easy scapegoat. If Jefferson isn't hinting at the playcalling, then I would gather that isn't the issue. The issue is preparation. Being ready, if you will.

So if this offense is as bad as last season, what needs to change?

Put in the kid...Doh!!
Hurry-up Vikings, we ain't getting any younger!
The very long camera shot during the game of Jefferson and Addison sitting on the bench ready to fight anything that walks was pretty rough. Two dudes who are fed up with being underfed.

The sum of the parts is less than the whole. That’s on coaching. We’re not maximizing our talent. We went away from what had worked the last 330+ days and 11 consecutive wins. That’s all on coaching.

We went away from that when they brought in mighty mouse. We needed more mobility from the qb position, but we couldn't give up the fact that the key to the position is being able to read a D and deliver the ball through the air.
Why isn't Chuck Foreman in the Hall of Fame?

But that doesn't fix the offense. Kyler can't get them ball, and he sure as hell can't throw them open. That is on the player. Not being prepared for the game week after week is on the player. You literally are blaming KOC on something that isn't the case. Making bad decisions and missing huge throws to extend drives is a killer. Never heard once KOC was to blame until Murray showing his true self.

Ive never understood why its never the QBs fault. Longstanding tradition of not laying blame on the 1 guy that touches the ball on every play around here.

So, KC is continuing to play a QB who isn’t prepared?

Plus, even during the 11-game win streak, we still had the worst O during that stretch. Even when coaching stuck to what the 11-game win streak had us doing, we were still the worst offense in football. But now it is on KOC. Got it.
