I am all on board to bring Kirko back for a third (preferably ours, not the Eagles), but either one ultimately. He is as close to a seamless fit into our offense as possible, plus JJ would likely approve and we could keep our best offensive player happy for the rest of this season. Win-win. Now I don’t know if the Raiders would do the deal, at .500 they are technically still in the playoff hunt, though in a tough division.

Wonder what we could get if we traded KOC…!? 🤔😇

I don't think there's ever been a case where a starting QB has been traded to another team to be their starter. Carson Palmer was traded mid-year to the Raiders, but only because Jason Campbell got hurt, and Palmer was sitting on his ass in Cincy over a contract dispute. Jimmy G was traded to the 49ers mid year and was immediately installed as their starter, but he was Brady's backup in Beantown.

And if they want their starter gone so badly, should you even be willing to give up the capital required to make it happen?

Been hearing a lot about this. Theilen said on KFAN as well when asked who they should look for in a trade or fix the offense. He said immediately it's QB. Go out and find yourself a QB. I have a strange feeling that Kyler is the last resort at this moment.

Starting to think Vikings will trade a late-Day 3 for him Tuesday.

If cut pre-March 15, dead-cap is only $500k if he passes physical. If he doesnt, $10m.

A Herbert trade would have seem more doable if we still had JJM to include, but could there possibly be a brotherly agreement for the Giants to send JJM to the Chargers when Dart is back and healthy?
