Probably needs another year. But, Reid might have this right.

That’s where I see us going. If we could turn back time. KOC had his perfect QB in the building.
Are there any with accuracy and prototypical size?

A couple, but that accuracy disappears when moved off the mark.

I’ve never invested emotional capital in a sports person and I highly doubt that will ever happen.
JJM has a lot of talent and I consider the decision to trade him as impressively irrational - especially for peanuts. This isn’t because I expect he’ll necessarily become all world, it’s because we have a QB room of guys who get injured and it’s a league where you’re playing with fire not having capable backups. Brosmer is a poor option/borderline practice squad as of now. That may change, but if we end up with him, the likelihood of decent play is exceptionally low.
If we had been starting JJM over Kyler, I suspect we’d have seen quite a few more TD passes by this point in the season. However, how many turnovers? No one can answer that when you won’t play a young guy. I’d prefer they don’t waste another premium draft pick on a QB under KOC. He has not shown the patience or guts to truly develop a young QB. I say guts, because it takes some to stick with a young guy. KOC just doesn’t have that. Neither do most fans and in particular Minnesota fans. I think they’re better off bringing in guys other coaches helped develop. If you’re going to draft a guy in the first round and move on after just 10 starts, it’s pointless. I can’t even remember an instance where a team has done that. The list of elite/Hall of Fame QB’s who needed several years of starts before getting things going would include nearly every single one of them. That’s reality. I don’t want to see the team go through another mess burning numerous picks to cling to a rainbow and unicorn mentality of instance success only to give up when the going gets remotely tough.
Keep seeing Arch being comped to Danny Dimes. That seems pretty accurate.

I don’t think Arch declares either.

At this point? I am just wondering if there is a day 2 QB the Vikings would consider. Someone who checks the fit and upside boxes?
Hurry-up Vikings, we ain't getting any younger!

Maiava I think is still the best fit for what KO prefers. If he could instill the “quiet mind” trait as a play begins to break down, you could really have something. Same with Lindsey and Sorbay.
I think Maiava will be this draft’s Drew Allar.

Is it time to have the Sorsby conversation?

I can't quit this kid. There's something about him....I'd bet on it...
