Fixed it for ya. I am getting pretty tired with the KOC support. It is your job as a leader to lead. You failed on multiple levels with a QB that was drafted highest in franchise history. Your offense looks on life support at best. He is winning close games. I will give him that.

4 quarters plus 11 snaps is enough for me to decide.

I have no idea what direction this franchise will go regarding the QB position. I do know that the organization that Teasley came from wasn’t afraid of making big swings at the position.

I think we will definitely have a new starter next year. The one thing that concerns me with Teasley is the Seahawks QB philosophy has always seemed like a game manager rather than a big time QB, although that could have been more of a Pete Carroll thing.

I think KOC is going to want to get someone who can sling it. We will be drafting mid first at the lowest, so going to take giving up a big haul to move up and get one of the better QBs. Although right now, this upcoming QB class does not seem to have the elite QBs it was thought to have, hopefully it proves to be deeper though.

He has had 7 years. Not sure what you see to make you think it will get substantially better.

Honestly thought we’d get through this year before any changes were made. At least major ones.

I don't think KOC survives a "clean slate at QB". A clean slate means he has failed to acquire and or develop a viable option at QB yet again. It's Kyler or Bust unless there's some sort of under the table deal to go get someone like Herbert.

It means he got his "just an average QB" and it didn't work in the same way he couldn't develop Hall or JJM or Brosmer.

I have zero faith in Teasley and I think he’s an idiot. This was a stupid decision regardless of what JJM does. We have two oft injured guys on the roster and a guy on the practice squad who is borderline to even be in the league. We traded our safety net for a 5th round pick which has very little actual value and it’s only the third game of the season. Our starter has missed time already and looked subpar Sunday to the guy we just traded.

I see limited options moving forward - whether in the draft or free agency. Brosmer is the lone QB under contract at the end of the season.

It’s indefensible for me. These coaches and GM’s are paid huge dollars to have the capacity to deal with whatever may come up. If they can’t handle JJ McCarthy of all personalities, then they shouldn’t be in their positions.

Take a look at rb room going into 27 while you’re at it.

So can a GM and coach do what they feel is necessary or do they need to run it by the fan base, lol? So first of all, we aren't sure exactly why the Vikings organization soured on JJ so quickly, we've heard rumors, that's it. It obviously was something. We may never know fully to be honest. The only real way to know if KOC/Teasley were wrong in this is if McCarthy becomes a starting QB and does decently as a 2.0 version sometime in the future. I asked ad nauseam the last few months this question: does it FEEL like the Vikings consider JJ the future? Are they doing the things that show this? Very simple questions that were self evident if you got past fan-minded thinking. And yesterday that was validated. And trust me, this isn't what I wanted....but I can still read the writing on the wall however. I'm not a blind fan. Wrong sometimes, sure....but not blind. 😜💜

Well, Spielman and KAM both never returned my calls. How’d that work out for them? Coincidence? I think not.

To me, the fact they moved so quickly and got such a pittance in return indicates they had really wanted him out of the building asap. As I mentioned before, I think that refusing/being unavailable to play in that last preseason game sealed the deal.

We’re probably going to see an entirely new backfield and TE corps. Our first might be the higher remaining RB or TE prospect. I don’t think we take a Quarterback until Day 2. Getting the feeling Baugh will be long gone by the time we pick.
