Do we sign a Vet QB now?
With JJM gone, here are the “best” available..
Jimmy G - seems like he would be a good fit for KOCs offense given his experience with Niners/Shanahan
Nick Mullins - can operate KOCs offense and get the ball to Jefferson. Currently on the Jaguars practice squad, so would have to sign him to the 53.
Jake Browning - former Vike, Bengal, now a FA.
Josh Johnson - 40 years old, on the Bengals practice squad. I think he has played for just about every team in the league except us!
Or do we roll with Brosmer as QB3? (gulp)

You are saying that Max cant grow as a player? There are plenty of guys that have looked like ass their first year or two and then the light comes on. He may never become a legit starter, hell likely wont, but to say that because he looked bad in limited opportunities as a rookie, that he is hopeless, thats flawed logic. He was on a roster that was putting most of their efforts into JJM, and the #2 guy, Im pretty confident in saying Max was getting very limited snaps all offseason, and likely less in our O during the season. He still had a decent completion %, and typically didnt look lost in the O, thats something to build on.
He looked better in preseason this year, they've kept him on the team, might as well run him out there in another failed season if it comes to that vs pissing away more draft picks in failed attempts to salvage fan support for another failed season.
