Do we sign a Vet QB now?
With JJM gone, here are the “best” available..
Jimmy G - seems like he would be a good fit for KOCs offense given his experience with Niners/Shanahan
Nick Mullins - can operate KOCs offense and get the ball to Jefferson. Currently on the Jaguars practice squad, so would have to sign him to the 53.
Jake Browning - former Vike, Bengal, now a FA.
Josh Johnson - 40 years old, on the Bengals practice squad. I think he has played for just about every team in the league except us!
Or do we roll with Brosmer as QB3? (gulp)
For this year sign Mullins off jags practice squad
I think between Murray/Wentz we have cornered the market on ‘vet QBs’
We have a very recent (last2drafts) working with Carolina. They’ll take our calls.
Pry away Haynes King, developmental prospect, who has history of production and can actually play.
Carolina put him on the 53, knew he would be poached from PS.

I would agree, it will be the Kyler Murray show for sure moving forward. I don't see any trade or pickup happening unless Kyler gets injured.
Vikings are going to ride or die with Murray this year. No way Herbert gets traded during the season. The plan for 2027 might be a guy like Drew Lock for a year or two that allows a high drafted rookie QB to sit. Hard to say.
All I've read and heard is how K1 is going to rock this offense with KOC and the surround. So lets start seeing it, honestly it needs to start happening this Sunday against Miami. IMO there's internal pressure for that to happen. I think the players might be in a bit of low level shock with McCarthy's trade and some fans so....time for the O to make an appearance at US Bank.
