Is this the least you’ve been excited for a season?

….. at least in recent memory???

Maybe it’s preseason that resembled wet dog shit. Maybe it’s the litany of question marks that surround Kyler Murray. Maybe it’s the questions surrounding how good of a coach KOC actually is. Maybe it’s just me…

But this is the least amount of hype I’ve EVER had going into a season…and that’s including Darnold’s year (and I thought Sam was a fucking joke). I mean I’m gonna watch the games, but I have less than zero faith in K1. And this team will only go as far as he takes them. Therefore I have almost no faith in this offense.

I think the defense is good enough that they’ll be in every game this year regardless of opponent, but I don’t know if the offense can keep up their end of the bargain unless Kyler (by some miracle) can regain his form from more than half a decade ago. I hope I’m wrong.

I could make a case for Kyler going off for 4 total TD and beating Green Bay’s ass in week one. I could also make an equally compelling case for him throwing 3 picks and being an absolute disaster. I’m more dreading the game than I am excited for it.

Yeah, he's not just a runner. Some passing facts about K1 from AI:
Deep Throw Accuracy Tracking: Per Pro Football Focus (PFF), when protected on deep-shot attempts (passes of 20+ air yards), Murray has consistently graded in the top 5 in adjusted completion percentage over several seasons, boasting elite deep-ball touch despite his lower average depth of target (aDOT) in scheme-heavy offenses.
Completion Rate relative to Career Attempts: His career completion percentage hovering around 67.1% puts him among the top all-time active passer averages. He became the second-fastest quarterback in NFL history (by total pass attempts) to reach 1,500 career completions, trailing only Justin Herbert.
Completion Percentage Between the Hashes: Murray consistently ranks among the elite in middle-of-the-field efficiency, leading the NFL with an 84.5% completion rate between the hashes in 2024.

I already said I was excited, you don't have to sell it to me.
