Politically impossible.  Treadwell getting beat out by the vet (and fellow former 1st rounder) Floyd would be acceptable, but losing out to a 5th round rookie would be an omelet in Spielman's face.

No, I meant that a 5th rounder (Adams) beating out the former first rounder (Treadwell) would make Treadwell an embarrassment.
