Buzz Kill....
Based on pts Baltimore is 15th.

Doesn't matter what any team's stats are other than the Browns, whom the Vikings should be able to beat virtually every given Sunday.
This team has a thin margin for error. Or have we already forgotten the 7 points scored at home against a banged up Lions Defense?
Can't turn the ball over, miss FGs and commit drive killing or drive continuing penalties.
With a Tier 2 QB this team should go 10-6 or 11-5. They don't have that right now. Maybe the best backup QB, but that means they need to play very clean football.
I honestly feel like this game is crucial unless someone can look into the future and tell me Sam or Teddy will be playing and playing well before that brutal stretch of Road Games begins.
Ravens are tough vs the pass, soft on the run...but Thielan has a great matchup in the slot...they give up nearly 21 points per game...21...the magic #...not an easy game but the Ravens are a bit banged up...no gimmie, but I like us at home...

He's expected to play this weekend. He'll be a tough test for Elflein and our OGs...
Forget all the rationalizing. It's the Vikings. They can lose to anyone at any time for the nuttiest of reasons.
Though on a positive note, the Case Keenum weekly yo-yo meter is pointing up next Sunday.
Taking a closer look, those pass D stats might be misleading...they give up nearly 13 yards per completion...

The Vikings are going to have to play clean on offense and avoid handing Baltimore any short fields via turnovers. If Case can avoid costly mistakes, I think the Vikings can win this game comfortably... probably a throwback-style game... 16-9.Zimmer said on the radio with Paul Allen this evening that the Ravens special teams are about as good as we'll face this year too. Best punter in the league. I'm kind of anxious to see em play.
Has a ton of respect for Flacco and said their D plays "salty" whatever that means. I take it as stout.
The Raven special teams coach, Jerry Rosburg, is a native of Fairmont, Mn.
Special teams is where they have an advantage.
No where else?
I take no where else :)

Sam Koch and Justin Tucker are probably the best (or at least in the top 3) at their positions in the NFL. The Ravens special teams are no joke. That's why the Vikings need to play clean football in all phases... if the Ravens can win the field position battle, their defense is good enough to give us some problems on offense.
I'm expecting a win, but don't be surprised if it's a dog fight...
It would be very like the Vikings to lose this game. Fingers crossed.

I'd say we won the ST segment...
