Day 2 Practice ~ July 30 ~ Whatever ya got!

I like this idea of having a daily thread for each day of practice....good dump off spot. 👍

I didnt read squat Day 1 about Big Citrus, Claiborne or Golday...

I had a feeling those picks were suspect...

Well Banks was "very active" according to that one video.

Jake Golday’s preparation

Eric Wilson said after practice that he’s been impressed with the way Golday has picked things up. “He's doing a really good job, but he seems to have a good football IQ,” Wilson said. “Dude's very versatile, which is very helpful in our defense, for sure. Big guy, and it seems like he loves to put in that work. So I appreciate that. So he's just fitting in well.”

O’Neill mentioned that the second-round linebacker was one of the guys who worked out with him in Minnesota over the summer.

“The 1st step to it is just breaking down the playbook,” Golday said. “And then I like to write out what everybody's job is on the field so that I know exactly where my spot is. Even if I go out there and they just throw me in a position I'm not that familiar with. I still know it because I've been studying everybody else's spots, and it's just process of elimination at that point.”

Yep ~ It doesn't matter if it's real/true, all fluff, BS, or just plain stupid, it helps pass the time away & most make for good reading/entertainment.
