Eagles' interest in Jonathan Greenard highlighted here.
Vikings prefer to keep Greenard, who wants new deal. A trade 'really not something (Minnesota's) trying to do,' per source.
But trade interest is there, and draft is natural spot for teams to take another crack.

Just the opposite for me...I dont think JJM is going anywhere, least not this year. Way TOO MANY questions on Murray that need to be addressed and too much upside for JJ.
Me too. In fact, it would not surprise me to see JJM starting for the Vikings in 2027!
There is a prospect that is slated as late 1st, early second on concesus boards. The Vikings met with him at the combine, met with him at his pro day, and held a private workout with him. He has a RAS of 9.84, from San Diego ST. His pro comps are Byron Murphy and Shaq Griffith...
CB Chris Johnson could be a surprise first pick if they move back a few picks.

That would be a surprise, but Johnson has been getting some legit first round buzz lately.

Vikings QB J.J. McCarthy on the move this week?
@CharlesRobinson
with some nuggets on draft week.
McCarthy's stock around the league "appears low" and Robinson does not think the "Vikings are trying to have a QB competition and believes McCarthy's trade value "is going to go anywhere but down from here".
"If the Vikings are eventually going to deal him, this is the window — either during this draft or afterward — with a team that is looking for a young developmental backup."
You mean...like the Vikings?

Would you take a 4th rounder for him?
Nope, not when Dexter Lawrence just went for the 10th overall pick, Crosby was traded for two 1st's (before trade was canceled), and Rashaun Gary went for a 4th.

'Anthony Richardson, Kenny Moore will not attend offseason program while seeking trade.'
Richardson was the 4th overall pick in the 2023 Draft to now nary a team interested in trading for him in any real or substantial way.
NFL Draft info, per
:
• Carnell Tate, Jordyn Tyson very much on Giants' radar
• Tate, Tyson, Spencer Fano, Rueben Bain Jr., Mansoor Delane, Caleb Downs, Kenyon Sadiq considerations for Chiefs at No. 9
• Most teams believe Browns will take Carnell Tate or Francis Mauigoa at No. 6 if no trade back. Also been connected to Kadyn Proctor, Monroe Freeling
• Saints believed to be floor for Carnell Tate, possible ceiling for Mansoor Delane
• Cardinals, Titans, Giants, Browns, Commanders, Chiefs all open to trading out of their pick
This draft has got to be one of the most difficult to predict in a while..

Then your position is likely no different than the Vikings position. We're obviously open to trading him, but we're not going to give him away. Trading him for less than value would make Viking fans a bit surly at the front office. Or more surly in your case.

Well, according to the report Sticky posted....we don't want to trade him. So who knows what's going on or what's being offered, but the Vikings should absolutely be able to get at minimum a 2nd round pick based on what other defensive lineman have been traded for this offseason

Justin Jefferson, in the #Vikings building on Day 1 of offseason workouts, said he’s excited about Kyler Murray in the building and the competition it’ll create at QB. He’s worked out with J.J. McCarthy, he said. “It’s good for him to feel that type of pressure and lock in a little bit.”

Kyle Rudolph (2011, 2nd Round, 43rd Overall): Known as one of the most productive tight ends, he is often cited as a top-two draft investment

He doesn't sound like a guy who believes JJM's days here are numbered or that the QB decision is made, unless he is really skilled at coach speak.
Free agent quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo is considering retirement, sources told NFL Network on Monday.
Garoppolo, 34, has spent the past two seasons with the Los Angeles Rams, backing up quarterback Matthew Stafford, and was still considered the top option to fill that role for the 2026 season.
At the NFL's annual meeting last month, coach Sean McVay said that the Rams were considering Garoppolo and Kirk Cousins for the role as Stafford's backup. Cousins has since signed with the Las Vegas Raiders.
