Kwesi Fired...
WOWSA...I'm a little shocked still. Do the Wilfs frequent these boards?

Well, that news will make a lot of people on this board really, really happy...including me. Wilfs are nice and patient owners, but I guess they even had enough...
Shocked they made that move! So much for the quiet 2 months someone else had mentioned…
Alright who should we hire?! Philly, LAR, LAC, SF are some orgs worth looking at I’d say.
Last thought can this PLEASE end the false narrative that the Wilfs don’t care about winning? They do. They have. They’ll continue to. It’s just hard to win.
WOW, I am shocked. This seems out of character for the Wilfs. I guess this puts KOC on a hot seat as well. Maybe this is why it took so long to get the contract done. This late, it feels like maybe he was directed to do something that he failed to do.
Kinda reeling from this one, because as much as KAM has whiffed on picks, he looks to have hit on some pretty well as they mature a bit.
This either came about with KOC's input, or it's a very direct warning to him that no one is safe right now.
KOC, JJM, Flores...make a good plan, or you'll be following Kwesi....

The Minnesota Vikings are have fired general manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah after four seasons with the club, NFL Network Insider Tom Pelissero reported Friday.
Minnesota's decision comes as somewhat of a shock, considering the Vikings agreed to an extension with the GM in May of 2025.
Less than a year later, he's out following a 9-8 season that fell far short of expectations in quarterback J.J. McCarthy's first campaign as a starter.
Adofo-Mensah departs with a 43-25 record, having put together to playoff rosters for the Vikings -- though both lost in the Wild Card Round.
Around the NFL will have more on the Vikings shortly.
Wow, that's wild! Why wait this long? Like I've been saying, we don't know who made what decision about which draft pick or what decision about the QBs, but the owners know. I think this gives us a pretty good idea. I'd bet the 2025 free agency class, and those OL trades, had a lot to do with this.
I guess it's true..."Nice guys do finish last"... lol

Don't know as it wasn't even on the radar, but let the speculation begin...

Just saw Brzezinski is going to run the draft and they will hire someone after the draft. In Rob we trust?
Interesting. So going from one numbers guy to another numbers guy? ;)
Okay, let's look in the rear view mirror and see.
Look at how many former Vikings are in the Super Bowl...both teams.
How many were let go by the Vikings...or let slip away.
Even the Strib sports columnists have been apologetic to Darnold, to Bradbury...
How come the Seahawks, the Patriots have made these scrubs work and we could not.
It was starting to be a glaring and obvious F'up on our part...especially so in the last week or so.
I liked Kwesi, but it wasn't just the whiffs on the draft...it was the entire body of work.
Well, it's a glorious day if true. Still not seeing anything on ESPN.
Look, the problems start at the top and this was a move that had to be made considering the significance of the upcoming draft. He never should have been hired to begin with considering his background.
Kwesi, don't let the analytics hit you in the ass on your way out the door....and take Grigson with you! SKOL!

Don't forget Ingram

God I hope not.
Can the Wilfs please bring in someone with real experience and a background in scouting!? I mean, for the love of God...

Fake news...?
Brez tried his hand in personnel like 20 years ago and the team decided that was no bueno. So now the draft will be Brez and Grigson? Yikes.
This move surprises me because the timing is odd. Usually you can the guys you want to right after the season. What kinda shit is going on behind the scenes in our dysfunctional front office?
