Cause this team is cooked without some magic.

KOC is not helping either with bad decisions, will not commit to the run, will not run with 6 and 7 in the box, never runs on 3 rd and 2, not going for it on 4 th down when getting dominated. He needs a strong QB and a line that protects to run his scheme.

Way too many boneheaded penalties reeks of lack of discipline.

Get well soon JJM.

So how come the Vikings have performance injury excuses (not accusing you) because of the line, but just last night we saw a team that was as banged up if not more on the line than ours and down to RB#3 on the year. How Did that team run for over 200 yards on our mostly heathy defense? Might be something KOC wants to consider when our line is beat up and dysfunctional. I never did believe all that "we're going to run the ball more this year" garbage that was spewed all summer.

in fairness there are only 2 teams that have had more injury caused line combinations than the Vikes, and they werent 1 of them,  wanna say Browns and ..... Panthers or Titans (?) cant really remember for sure.

Why isn't Chuck Foreman in the Hall of Fame?

We were sold a bill of goods that, to date, have been woefully less than advertised. Came out of a pro style offense but we have to spend time on core fundamentals?

Hopefully he’s healthy and ready to go in Detroit. Hopefully Darrisaw and O’Neil are back too. I can’t sit through another 60 minutes of Wince.

I questioned his pro readiness, but you pay for pedigree and he had that in spades,  so here we are.  he checks a lot of boxes in what I think most want in a franchise QB... now I want to see him check the "can play the position" box,  its hard to stay optimistic,  even harder when he isnt even on the damn field.

I dont get why when Wentz was having to be scraped off the field, and couldnt hit water if he fell out of a boat,  that Brosmer wasnt at least given a series earlier to see what they have there.  its just baffling how KOC wont go to the back up until current the starter is wearing a different teams jersey,  or is damn near dead.  just like in the rams playoff game last winter,  everyone with at least one working eye knew that SD wasnt going to get it done that day,  you had jones in your back pocket....WTF do you ride the crippled horse to your death?  especially when they knew damn well they had no interest at all in bringing Sam back.

Ive had a few days to turn away from Pro Football and it was good for my soul...This 22 year old kid needs to stay healthy and get a good full year to curate and just let things play out.

We all have to hope that this rash of team injuries stops so we can get a clearer bead on things. We could be in for a big set of coach/personnel changes this off-season.

Oh and shut-up with too much detail in your pressers KOC, it helps nobody.

I've been doing this more and more. Had a nice break from Wednesday morning to Friday morning, just staying off sports social media and the board. Probably take another nice break tomorrow until the end of the week, it really is nourishing.

I was looking forward to Daniels vs Mahomes....

But that aint happening this week.

Well, he'll need to be Houdini and David Copperfield both behind this disgrace of an offensive line....and the D can put him in a 14 point hole in no time. Quite the incubator for a 22 year old.   :dodgy:

I was assured for years that offensive line woes were simply excuses, and that all fault lied with our QB.

Granted, all the people saying that were fuggin' dolts, but...yeah.

No amount of protection gaffes will matter to the chunk of the fan base that always roasts our QB.

KOC, JJM, Flores...make a good plan, or you'll be following Kwesi....

They had a veteran QB and one who is a dual threat. That keeps all three options (very accurate passer, qb scramble and run) available and introduces second guessing on the defense.it gave them the extra second they needed to pick the right plays.
We had at best one and half options since Wentz was not even healthy (missing multiple throws and poor accuracy) and not a scrambler. They thus keyed on our run game since that’s all we really got - hence we were pretty much one dimensional

I meannnn

Which Viking QB that this was said about has gone elsewhere and done anything at all lol because I can name plenty who've gone to different situations and still been bad.

The kid definitely has some magic, and KOC put a run-heavy plan in place that kept the kittens' defense off balance. Going forward, this is an amazing sign for both a pass-happy coach and our young QB that didn't have to make a ton of plays, but stepped up magnificently when absolutely needed.

We have a rough schedule, "magic" will be needed...but, what game is more daunting than Lions in Detroit?

KOC, JJM, Flores...make a good plan, or you'll be following Kwesi....
