There is nothing worse than coming to a Vikings site and having to sift through countless bullshit subjects to get to real news.

It's because he has all the free time to watch TMZ and try to be like (insert former POTUS name)  You know the cool popular guy instead of doing the actual job, I have heard he goes to the other board and copies P1s posts from many people....   Just saying. 

near as I can tell the thread titles are the same as the articles linked in the posting? At least the ones on the front page. 

Please keep the political postings off of this page. 

If the intent is to cause problems with your post maybe you should reconsider posting it. I understand there is a group that will not be happy until we shut the forums down here. I get it. But thats not going to happen. 

I haven't been around much, but with the sidebar on the left it seems most of the stuff Barr is posting is a bit redundant??  Just throwing it out there.

which is no different than what P1 does... neither are creating the stories, they are simply grabbing them from other sites.  lets not turn this into a battle between the boards.

Without Barr's posts, there would be very few posts here. I'm glad he does what he's doing. I don't mind all the trouble and time it takes to "sift through countless bullshit subjects" to find news worthy of my time

The amount of posts on the site shouldn't matter. It's a matter of content. Especially if you are linking stories from other sites. 

I understand that this is the offseason and news is slow. But the idiotic titles, it makes the site look bad.

As far as the subject titles Mike, without having to click on it, what would you assume "It's not me, it's you" to mean? 

when you say either site I have no idea what you are talking about. I only care about this site and i don't spend time on other sites. i don't measure this site against others. If you need moderators to start clamping down on posters address it with them. But I thought we were supposed to beabout less moderation not more. Thats what I remember people getting vocal about. Has that changed?

As far as the "other site", it was in reference to a previous post in the thread. Basically saying I'm not comparing the 2.

When it comes to moderation, I'm not saying this site needs anymore of that. 

I simply made a post about what the site looked like, when I finally decided to check it out again.

I guess i didnt see the threads in question with funny (or not?) titles. All i looked at was threads with titles of the articles linked. But I have been day drinking since 10:30am and I am in a boat on a lake fishing (no I am not piloting the boat) so I may have missd something. 

Perhaps I need to put in a filter for people posting links to news? This isnt a new concern. People used to complain about another poster posting news as well. 

Well I am GLAD BarrNone takes the time to put up those articles because

1. His thread titles sometimes give me a chuckle

2. NOT everything he posts is in the sidebar

3. Maybe I'm odd, but I pretty much scroll the board and ignore the sidebar.
