2025 NFL Free Agency and Draft: DT
Like corner, this draft class appears to have good value in the late 1st for DTs. And the thing I've noticed that is unusual about this class is how many BIG guys there are this year, with 5 of the top 8 on one board all weighing in over 320 lbs. That is rare.
Could see 4-6 DT's solidifying first round grades or elevating into first round next week at @seniorbowl.#TheDraftStartsInMOBILE™️ https://t.co/Lp12Z16QiM

Someone who could provide a pass rush inside would help everything....Especially Gink/Greenard.
Hurry-up Vikings, we ain't getting any younger!
This draft really lines up with most of our needs - Monster DT, RB, CB.

It does, its just too bad we don't have the picks to capitalize on it. As of now that is. Things could change if we get a team that sniffs around for Darnold.
This is the best DT draft crop in years. Size and talent on display. I've consistently seen at least 4 to 5 taken in the 1st round in every mock I've seen. Mostly the two Michigan tackles, Walter Nolen from Ole Miss and Derrick Harmon from Oregon. The Vikings are in a good spot this year to be needing interior defensive line help

I actually like him more than his teammate Mason Graham who is top 5 on most boards right now
Kenneth Grant is my man crush.

I'd take Kenneth Grant in a heartbeat.

I think we can all agree on that.
I just don't think we have any other option but to move down. We need to recapture draft capital. However, if a DT or CB falls to us, not sure how we can move down and not take one that fell. A lot will depend on FA. If I had to take a guess, I would say that we go all in on OG in FA and fix that. We may get one CB as well. But you need to go CB and DT in the draft.
I don't get the Mason Graham hype. 3.5 sacks on the season and had none from mid October on. He wasnt consistently dominant and to me Kenneth Grant looks like the more physical and active player. Both juniors coming out early. I'm going to be very interested to see how these two compete and test against each other through the draft process.
Does Mgoblue still post here? I'd love to hear his taje on these two

Grant is exactly what we need. I don't see him being there at 23 however. I also don't see us drafting at 23. We should move down to get picks we don't have.

lol, I was actually being sarcastic. The Vikings draft #24, not #23. :D

Walker wasn't as productive this season as he was in 2023. That's a red flag for me. Possibly, he was injured? At this point, I wouldn't like that pick in the 1st round. But, if we traded down into the 2nd round I would consider him.
Kenneth Grant is a wonderful human by the way.

Got 10 minutes with him at the bar today and came away so impressed with him as both a player and a person. All 32 teams would love to have him in the room. pic.twitter.com/vxDTREEc7S
They have not prioritized DT for a long time, so I would love to see them draft a DT this year. There's also a strong case for need at CB and RB, but I miss having standout players at DT.

I think with Graham it's more about pressures and TFLs than sacks. He's one quick dude.

Jordan Phillips has been making himself some MONEY as a space eating DT 👀

Despite zero sacks in two years at Maryland, he amassed 26 pressures and 31 run stops while only missing 3% of his tackles.
At 6’3 320lbs, his power profile has been on display at the Shrine Bowl. pic.twitter.com/LvRXzWQSgW
