Vikings v Lions
One big difference on Sunday will be Cashman, who was the Vikings' leading tackler when he went down with turf toe just before the Week 7 loss to Detroit.
This time, Cashman is playing and playing well. He led the Vikings with 11 tackles against the Packers, including 1.5 sacks and an impact that went beyond the box score.
“Natural leadership,” Flores said of Cashman. “A way of bringing people together. He’s very smart. He knows how to communicate with the various people ... whether it’s D-line, whether it’s an edge guy, whether it’s a safety, whether it’s a corner.
So, his position is one that he’s involved with coverage, involved with the run game, he’s involved with some of the pass rush. ... He’s been a key member of the defense and will continue to be that.”
Cashman is also a leading mind for a shapeshifting defense that prides itself on confusing quarterbacks and offensive line protection plans. The Lions offense also likes to trick opponents from time to time.
But the Vikings linebacker said this time of year isn’t about subterfuge.
“That’s the thing with the season,” Cashman said. “All the film is out there for the most part. But what it comes down to late in the year is play style and execution. Because everything is in. Every team, their identity is formed. It all comes down to play style and execution.”
Meaning: Just stop Jahmyr Gibbs.

Hurry-up Vikings, we ain't getting any younger!
Gibbs is ridiculous
Great.
We go to LA and KOC pays homage to McKay again.
(I hope this post ages poorly)

I remember many laughing at Detroit when they made that pick.
He is REALLY good and a matchup nightmare.
The frustrating part is our defense gave us a chance.
They have been on the field way too long
Game over. Thanks for watching the Gibbs show :(
Welp...that's that. Lions have proven to be the better team, have earned the top seed, and the Vikings will go on the road for the playoffs. I don't know that we can beat the Rams, but if so...better hope some other team can beat the Lions because we've proven we can't
It’s been fun. But they out played us tonight.
KOC never stood a chance vs the ‘85 Bears defense, aka the lions d minus 13 starters.
Sign and tag Sam and KoC.

Delay of game down 22. Lol
Sam hobbling because Bradbury got blown up by Singletary, no Nowalske.
Please God end this.

KOC’s shine losing luster also.Anyone else losing their effin-loving mind right now? Holy shit
LOL
Dude gets us to 14-3 and our first loss in 9 weeks and we're ripping KOC.
Get outta here.
Darnold didn't play well, lots of missed opportunities in the first half to get TDs.
Can't blame this one on KOC.
2 delay of games, down 22, same drive.
Ok, I’m done
Amd why the fuck is our starting D still on field down by 22 with 2 min to go? This is where the questions on KOc are merited
Why isn't Chuck Foreman in the Hall of Fame?

You get the fo.
Not one play call that gets us a TD from sbout 20 plays from the 5?
Embarrassing. Esp on this d.
Maybe 2 pass plays > 20 yds,all nite?
On their 3rd string DB’s?
This is 110 on KOC.
14-3, lol. Enjoy your 1-done.
I hope we kick the shit out of everyone, henceforth.
Not hopeful, after that PATHETIC display

Wasted effort.

In fairness to KOC, Darnold was abysmal with his accuracy and decision making in the red zone. I remember one play Addison was lined up to the right and was wide open...Darnold didn't even look in his direction.
The KRYPTONITE for the #Vikings continues…

The @Vikings lose to the @Lions and now are 0-5 in their last 5 games and 1-6 in the last 7 games.
A team they can’t seem to figure out a way to beat… if they get another shot at them in the playoffs, it will be in Detroit. pic.twitter.com/cXk6mnjyEn

We’d have to beat la and Philly on the road to meet them again in Detroit. Right?
Lmao.
Detroit was ripe for the taking, tonight.

I believe it's the lowest seed remaining after wild card weekend would go to Detroit. That could be us unless Green Bay or Washington pulls upsets.
Did you hear Campbell telling KOC after the game, "Hell of a season...see you again in two weeks."
