The last Minnesota team to make a finals was the Twins in 1991.

The North Stars made it in 1990.

The Viking did it in 1976.

The Timberwolves never made it.

Considering some sub par play, throw in some questionable officiating & coaching, we still lost 2 games by only a total of 4 points——perspective…!

Yah, but 0/2 is still 0/2...

Kat and Ant are letting them down this series. Gobert had some key D lapses too.

Hell, Naz Reid might have been their best player out there last night lol!

Hurry-up Vikings, we ain't getting any younger!

Towns is 28% shooting this series. Pretty much benched him at the end of Q4/game 2.

The trade KAT detractors will be loud again when this series mercifully ends.

Dallas finished the season on a 16-4 run and are 11-4 in the playoffs for a combined .771 win %.

They are the proverbial team that got hot at the right time. It would not surprise me if they win the title.

Yes, but I'm not surprised in the slightest.

This is a brutal series to watch.  Luka and Irving consistently making their own shots with minimal defensive pressure.  Our defensive team doesn’t appear to know how to defend them, meanwhile ANT has disappeared and KAT is content at bricking 3’s, and it doesn’t appear that anything we’re doing on offense is working at all to get open shots for players.  Combine that with Luka whining for fouls all the time and Mav’s players flopping, this reminds me why I don’t watch basketball anymore.

Luka is a bitch...extremely talented, but a bitch none the less. He also runs his mouth a lot, but seems to back it up. If things stay the way they are heading... I will definitely be cheering for the Celts to put a beat down on his ass.

I think the Celts' defense will give Dallas a much different set of problems, plus Team Green will have their starting center back...who can score from anywhere.

KOC, JJM, Flores...make a good plan, or you'll be following Kwesi....

Wolves still alive, head back to Minneapolis favored to beat the Mavs at home. Win that and it's a whole new series.

I would not be shocked if the wolfs win another one at home...

Meanwhile, Celts rest at home and watch.

A Celtics/Wolves final would be pretty sweet. Likely not going to happen, but if the Wolves win the next game at home, I wouldn't count them out. One game at a time.

Still, I hate all Dallas teams with a passion, so in some ways watching my Celtics annihilate the Mavs would be even more fun.

Selfishly, I'd hate that. I've been a Celtics fan about as long as I've been a Vikings fan...which goes back a looooong way.

I think my family followed the Bruins and Celtics after the Lakers and North Stars moved, which is why we have two Boston teams. I just know who I was raised rooting for.

It wasn't too bad, though: I started really watching basketball just in time to see a certain freckled guy from Indiana take Boston to a few championships.

In any case, if the 'Wolves make the Finals, I'd be torn. I've cheered for the Celtics all my life, but...cheering against anything from Minnesota is difficult, even for this NoDak.

Well, put the champagne away and don't light the fireworks and let's move on to year 34 of this drought.

It was a really fun year. Gotta find a PG of the future but this team will be in the mix for a while.

but even in the state of hockey.... how many people even knew that they were in the finals. Its like the WNBA, its something to watch and technically since they are getting paid its a "pro"
championship.... but does it really count in this conversation?
