Seattle just traded for Sam Howell to be their backup. There's no way the Commanders are going into the season with Mariota as their starter. So unless they trade for Justin Fields, they have to be taking a QB and likely won't be trading down.
I think it means they'll take a QB, but will it be at 2, 6, 11...or Justin Fields.
Stakes just got more intriguing. Gonna be lots of last minute jockeying. Got a feel they'll make a run at hometown hero Penix.
Snyder got 86'd and the Commanders want a new identity to sell.
