Viking's coaches didn't like their D, sign LB Cashman
Eden Prairie native.
The #Vikings have agreed to terms with former Texans LB Blake Cashman, per sources. Another addition to the defense. Man, oh man.

Gotta like it, another good signing for the D…
Blake Cashman’s 83.7 PFF grade last year ranked fifth out of 66 inside linebackers who played at least 500 snaps in the regular season. He had a huge year. #Vikings pic.twitter.com/8fuC0bbn59

Started 9 games in his first 4 seasons before last year, Houston brought him in to be a special teamer and he was forced into starting role last year, not overly excited about the signing, think there were less expensive options who could have filled the role, guess it tells you what they think of Asamoah
Giving Flores some talent to work with
Still nothing to get any push from the interior. I don't see many options in FA to improve things. It's very important we get our 3rd round pick back. Will open up some needed options.

• 40 Total Tackles (Leads Team)
• 5 Pass Deflections (T-1st on Team)
• 2 TFL (T-4th on Team)
• 1 Sack (4th on Team)

We've said it b4, but it bears repeating
If they can keep the band together on D, JJM and Turner turn into something?
This past off-season will be viewed as pivotal, maybe one of the most successful period for the franchise.
I guess we'll revisit this in 2026.
Hurry-up Vikings, we ain't getting any younger!

lol, you can't squash hope Jimmy! This team does it to us by having some very good regular seasons. Minnesota is like top 5 winningest teams in the NFL the last 20 years and no Super Bowl. They keep drawing us in regardless of knowing how the movie ends. Bastards.

The thing is, unless they go all in and make a trade this year, they will have even more cash to spend on free agency next year. It seems like Kwesi's sweet spot is free agency more so than the draft, which is great since they don't have many draft picks next year.
With JJM waiting in the wings, the future for Vikes fans appears to be brighter than it has been since the Bud Grant years.
It has taken the Wilfs a while to figure it out, but it appears they have.
