I contend yes, they have supplanted Dallas in that regard, especially so if they win Sunday.

Hurry-up Vikings, we ain't getting any younger!

No, I don't think so. Dallas dominates in several categories that rank NFL popularity. Ask any TV/Radio sports program producer and ratings soar when they discuss the Dallas Cowboys.

Is Kansas City a new dynasty in the New England mode? To that I would say yes. America's Team? Nope. New England never became America's Team even with their amazing success.

football is a religion in TX,  no way the Chiefs could supplant jerruhs kids.

Tay-Tay's team for sure.  America's team?  I'm not so sure.  Dallas was never America's team for me either.

i never understood the Americas team shit when fans of every other team want to see the Cowboys lose in their top 3 of franchises they want to see falter.

I think if you were to define America's Team as most fans or most generally liked team, the Chiefs have probably eclipsed the Cowboys.  I think it would only be a small blip on the graph until the Swifties got bored and remembered they don't really like football that much.

That said, totally agree that America's Team is a pretty meaningless designation.

Yeah they are. Dallas named themselves that and have stats and records but haven't won the big game in a while. The Chiefs are a dynasty in progress

3 peat is a definite possibility. Amazing what the right coach and QB combo can do.

The Chiefs started life as the Dallas Texans, moved to KC in 1963.   Somehow Dallas is still involved I guess.

Honestly, in popularity, its not even close: its the Dallas Cowboys. In every measurable metric conceivable. Its kind of crazy how this has remained so considering how long its been since they've been to a Super Bowl. With Kansas City now a certified dynasty and the Taylor Swift effect, they've probably moved up a spot or two. But nowhere near Dallas.
