With the Lions’ Loss…
The Vikings can defend their division crown by simply running the table…!!! ;) B)
If only we could play the Raiders every game! A game against the Bengals who have found a groove, two against Lions and one against GB and I think we will be fortunate if we win 1 or 2 more games based on what we saw today.
Just win your games and you are the #3 seed in the NFC. That's all. Most likely going to play the Lions 3 out of 4 weeks this year. That has never been done before, going to be interesting.

It won't be as efficient as Cousins, but it could be Cousins-esque. He threw a couple of very good balls coming in. He is playing with house money, let us see what he can do
Hopefully this team can stay healthy over the next couple of weeks, maybe get a Christmas miracle with the return of Hicks and Davenport for the final weeks
Lol
Mullens has been in this offense a while now. He has a chance to get paid if he can take it up a notch, but so did Dobbs just 3 weeks ago.
We just have to cross our fingers that Mullens is ready, cause you can see that Dobbs hit a wall trying to run this offense.
KOC is a pass first guy that wants to push it downfield. Mullens is the most capable of doing that.
Hall is a rookie with a 5th round pedigree. He may develop into a starter at some point but its probably not going to happen this year unless its forced on us.

That face on Dobbs was the face of a guy not getting paid nect year. Dude was up for one hell of a pay day if he could have sustained it.

He did everything but drive the tank back on to the middle of the field. One of the worst QB performances I've ever seen. Made any Tarvaris Jackson game look Montana-esque. Nice kid, but his Jeremy Linn moment in the sun has set. At least it's over and we can move on
I don't think Lion watching is really gonna matter.
Our hc and his moronic Dobbs experiment in mid-season is looking like a bigger idiot than Man Campbell. My guess is the Packers overtake both of us
Its too funny the Vikings have their destiny in their hands. As its turning out, Vikings could have been a pretty good team in the NFC with Cousins. Only the Cowboys and Eagles (barely) would have been better. The Lions are obviously a beatable team. Minnesota has already beaten San Fran and Green Bay.
JMO, but I think the Vikings are going to fade away here in the next several weeks because Mullens is backup quality only. He'll be much better than Dobbs, but I think you'll need decent QB play to beat teams like Cincy, Detroit and Green Bay. I'll be curious to see what Nick looks like with a full week of prep.

He can at least run the offense which Dobbs couldn't. It seems that rocket science and football don't mix. But KOC got Dobbs his participation trophy which apparently was important enough to halt our win streak, kill the buzz and lose two (and nearly three) winnable games.
I expect Mullens to turn it over on a regular basis, it's what he's done before. But he can move chains and get us scores working from the pocket which Dobbs cannot. The fighting chance at Cincinnati will be Flores causing Jake Browning to look like the real Jake Browning. That's the hope anyway.
Hope Jefferson is OK and we dont loose him again. i want to see him and Addison working the field. It sure didnt happen yesterday.

Concerned about Addison, he has not been the same player lately, he is not playing physical and just does not look into it. I saw all his games last year at USC and he also faded at the end of the season, although he was battling injuries then. I wonder if at his size he is wearing down. He just does not look into it, if you didn't see him earlier in the year, you would think he looks like a guy that doesn't care to be out there.

I suspect that a lot of Addison fading is Dobbs. He does not make WRs look good. His passes tend to be high, behind, and late. JJ can adjust and make the catch (and get killed in the process) but normal receivers cannot. Dobbs likes big TEs, and even there, he has gotten TJ crushed a few times also. This is an under-appreciated quality of good QBs - they don't get their WRs killed. Dobbs does not possess that ability. I expect Mullins to be better at it than Dobbs but not quite in the Cousins world.
I think it's a case of Addison just hitting the proverbial "rookie wall" at the same time the Passtronaut was showing everybody who we already knew he was. I'm still trying to figure out how KOC stuck with him so long after the Bears game shit sandwich and an abysmal half against Vegas where he essentially got the franchise player laid out on one of his many inaccurate throws. He never should have seen the field after halftime
Try to win out and repeat or lose get a WC and then beat Lions in Detroit.
Ending Detroit @ Detroit in the playoffs and this season would be a massive success. I'd be good with it 100%

Yeah, no doubt.Addison with Cousins: 36 catches, 482 yards, 7 TDs
Addison without Cousins: 20 catches, 231 yards, 0 TDs
